This place is pretty straight forward. Twenty beers on tap and a couple more in bottles. All the stuff on tap is pretty high quality. The place is cozy with lots of craft beer signage hung up and some table tops made out of bottle caps. Staff were pretty friendly. Prices werenít unreasonable except for the 75 cent shots of beer. 75 cents for a 1.5 oz. sample? Come on!
Visited in early September 2015. A nice little place with a cozy atmosphere. A solid tap list, including a beer brewed by a small brewery in St. Louis - Civil Life. I visited Civil Life a few years ago and I donít think they were brewing enough beer to distribute at all. Exellent Food! My wife and I met up with an old WVU college buddy and former next door neighbor here while en-route from Baltimore to Morgantown, WV.
Frederick/Baltimore/DC were my stomping grounds until moving to the tropics and warmer waters in 2007.
Neighborhood bar / sports bar vibe, but small, cozy and friendly. Tap list reflected a nice mix of regional and national craft brews. Good, solid, hearty pub grub. Definitely worth a stop if in the area.
Pleasant place just south of Frederick. Looks like it may have been a diner in a previous life. Beer selections are on chalkboards on two sides of the seating area and can be difficult to read because of shadows and reflections. Once you conquer that, you will find some good choices with the prices prominently displayed. Very friendly staff. Food menu was limited but tasty. Worth a stop if in the area.
Roasthouse sits innocently enough off the interstate in Frederick and would be easy enough to pass by as you gaze at the multitude of used car lots and dive motels. This place is a rare gem though offering a couple dozen fresh taps, solid food, and a great local atmosphere.

Great bar in a slightly weird location. 20 taps with a nice selection, flying dog, stone woot, schlafly, Evo. Shots of beer .75 cents was different. Iíll be back
nice place in lower Frederick (close to Flying Dog)... kind of in a weird industrial area - feels like this place should be in a more downtown setting. excellent food with 20 taps to choose from. when asked about their rotating bomber list, the service seemed to balk at my question of what was on it.... like who cares? they charge for samples which is kinda odd as well. definitely worth stopping in for a bite and a drink before / after touring Flying Dog.
