Free parking on both sides. The bartender was our waitress, so service was a little limited, but she still kept up pretty well. Tap menu was around 20 pretty good local selection. They do samples on 2, 4, or 6 increments. I got the burger which was big and good, but a little high at $15.
Located off the historic city centre, this venue is a cozy refuge for everyone in the area who appreciates good beer and a relaxed atmosphere. Cozy, homey interior with a long bar. The staff is knowledgeable and eager to speak about the beers on tap, and these include both lical goodies and othe East coast 100's, like Captain Lawrence Cuvee de Castleton, as well as good US brews, from e.g. Victory. Popular prices. Flights of 4 or 6 gladly served for reasonable money. Definitely the best bar in town.
Visited in early September 2015. A nice little place with a cozy atmosphere. A solid tap list, including a beer brewed by a small brewery in St. Louis - Civil Life. I visited Civil Life a few years ago and I don’t think they were brewing enough beer to distribute at all. Exellent Food! My wife and I met up with an old WVU college buddy and former next door neighbor here while en-route from Baltimore to Morgantown, WV.
Frederick/Baltimore/DC were my stomping grounds until moving to the tropics and warmer waters in 2007.
Neighborhood bar / sports bar vibe, but small, cozy and friendly. Tap list reflected a nice mix of regional and national craft brews. Good, solid, hearty pub grub. Definitely worth a stop if in the area.
Pleasant place just south of Frederick. Looks like it may have been a diner in a previous life. Beer selections are on chalkboards on two sides of the seating area and can be difficult to read because of shadows and reflections. Once you conquer that, you will find some good choices with the prices prominently displayed. Very friendly staff. Food menu was limited but tasty. Worth a stop if in the area.
Roasthouse sits innocently enough off the interstate in Frederick and would be easy enough to pass by as you gaze at the multitude of used car lots and dive motels. This place is a rare gem though offering a couple dozen fresh taps, solid food, and a great local atmosphere.

Great bar in a slightly weird location. 20 taps with a nice selection, flying dog, stone woot, schlafly, Evo. Shots of beer .75 cents was different. I’ll be back
