Great layout, open but you can still feel private if you need. Has a full bar and a great selection of draft beers! Food is good, service has always been great and friendly. Helpful staff, fun beers, good food and a comfortable place to hangout. A nice stop.
Eugene City Brewery is a decent place to stop in downtown Eugene. It’s not my favorite location of the Rogue Alehouses, but all in all it’s OK. The menu items are not quite prepared as well as the Newport locations but still better than a lot of pub fare/bar food.
Right in the middle of town this Rogue was packed with people. Lots of track memorabilia due to this is Track Town USA. Good Rogue beers and track town ales. I had the 200 meter ale and 400 meter they where very tasty. I also got some lunch here and it was very good. 5 regular taps and 4 seasonal there are plenty of beer styles for all. Good looking place. I really had a good time here. Just avoid during game weekends when the Ducks are playing.
Rogue brewery and restaurant, has a rotating selection of Rogue beers. It often seems like hey are sold out of or don’t stock many of the Rogue styles. Decent food and the service is usually above average. It’s in the rotation for places to grab a beer and some food but it’s not at the top of the list.
Value more reflects the price on food, not the price of beer. Wide selection of Rogue taps, of course, as well as the Eugene City seasonals. Waiter was pretty up on things and brought me a free sample when he discovered I was on ratebeer--said I had to try the Glen Ale, brewed each year just for Eugene’s Sasquatch Beer Festival. The food was eh, but they also had a limited menu during the festival, so that could be why.
Pretty typical layout of Rogue places, though I do like the downstairs area which I’ve been in for various graduation parties and whatnot, very cozy down there. The food is typical of the Rogue places, the kobe burgers are dank as hell and the beer cheese soup is nearly as good as that at the Bier Stein. The hazelnut brown bread is delicious. The beer is typical Rogue fare, with a few local taps. The 200 meter ale is the best of these local brews. The place gets a little rowdy some nights, as benefits a bar in the downtown area of a university town.
