After stocking Rogue at work This was a must visit. Heaps of taps, a few I had never tried, nice small old pub feel to it. Helpful friendly staff, the dudes next to me friendly as, Awesome merchandise & insulting "Black Friday case/keg prices". just overpriced compared to others.
Judging from previous reviews it’s quite a lottery whether you get good service or not. We got excellent service. Quick, friendly and flawless. The selection is about 30 taps, all Rogue. A lot of the usual suspects but also some rare ones. Nice experience
My experience was an effing disaster - mostly because of the service to the patio was dismal. Our waiter couldn’t get our order right. One guy ordered his food 10 minutes before the rest of us (he didn’t order beer) and his Kobe patty melt arrived as a burger. The tots came as fries. Wrong beers. Food came 40 minutes after the first person’s plate. I think he got the deep fried cheese curds right? When asked for the bill - we waited 25 minutes and had to go through the whole reconciliation again because beers, food and sides were a mess. Server was asleep at the wheel unfortunately.
Right across the street from 10 Barrel, I finally decided to check this Rogue location out. This one, like other locations, has an old-style feel to this expansive place. Service was extremely friendly and prompt, being very generous with free samples. Prices very good for flights. Tap selection offers a large range of Rogue beers, with many I had never had before. Wouldn’t recommend this as a priority stop, but it’s a decent addition to Portland’s downtown brewery/bar destinations.
Visited on a Thursday evening in March 2016. Quite crowded but still kind of relaxed. The service was good although a bit "diffrent". The lady had "skinn på näsan". (can’t translate that). The food was ok as was the beers. A decent place.
