Definitely not the prettiest or most organized place, but it’s the selection that matters most and this place has an excellent selection of beer. We’ve spent a long time in this place and spent quite a bit of money too. There’s always something we’ve never had and they have all our favorites too. Don’t forget to walk in the cooler - it doesn’t seem like you are allowed, but they don’t care - just walk in! Probably one at a time though as it’s stocked so full of beer! I can’t recommend this place enough. Oh and it’s looks like a good selection of wine too, but I know nothing about wine. And Skyline is right next door too!
Located on Montgomery Road not too far south of Kenwood Towne Center and Trader Joe’s--a short drive off I-71 if you’re passing through the area. Beer is on shelves, tables, the floor, in coolers, and seemingly sprouting out of the walls--a very large selection for a relatively small space. As others have mentioned, you can always find brews that aren’t available elsewhere in the Cincinnati area. It’s on the other side of town from me but I’m going to make it my duty to stop in more often.
Definitely worth stopping in to search for some hard to find beers. The focus is on wine, but towards the back there is a very nice selection of brews from AleSmith, Bellls, Dogfish Head, Founders, Rochefort, Southern Tier, and many more. Organization is lacking, but some (including myself) are happy to browse the entire selection, gazing carefully at each label to be sure not to miss anything. About half of the selection is refrigerated in several coolers (one of them walk-in) and there’s also a table towards the front of the store with single 12oz bottles for sale. Purchased a Speedway Stout, Choklat, and a pack of Hopslam during my last visit. Always something worthwhile here, especially if you’re a big fan of AleSmith.
Surprised by how low the ratings are for this place. Great selection of regional brews and good prices. Kind of stuff all over the place but they had 4 times the beer that Dilly Deli had. Picked up some Clipper City BA Barley wine. Have decent selection of singles. Found some beers here that I did not see anywhere else in OH. Nice store.

Little gem of a place well known to the locals of Montgomery / Silverton area. If you are not from the area, you probably don’t know about it. That’s too bad too. This place has a HUGE selection that is only rivaled by places like Jungle Jim’s and The Party Source. I’ve heard of other local places in Cincy that offer great selections as well, but these places are usually only known to locals. Beer service / knowledge varies quite a bit depending who is working there at the time.
Quirky store in a small strip mall not far from the Kenwood Towne Center. Generally a pretty good selection of beer. The problem is that finding beers can be a challenge. Some bottles are in 3 different places with not much rhyme nor reason to the organization. I still stop by from time to time.
A decent little place for selection - one of the few places around Cincinnati I’ve seen Haandbryggeriet, and one of the few places around to see any Habanero Sculpin. It can be called anything except organized, however, with six-packs and bottles seemingly shelved according to a system of "meh, whatever", so if you’re looking for something specific, it’s best to ask the folks working there unless you have a little time to search. The storage is haphazard as all get-out, with little rhyme or reason as far as what’s on shelves in the middle of the store, what’s in the coolers along the walls, and what’s just literally piled on the floor wherever space permits.
Given that I’ve only been in once, on a seemingly slow Sunday afternoon, I can’t comment with much authority on the staff, but the two guys working the place gave every indication of being baked out of their minds. They also didn’t seem to know all that much about the beer selection aside from a general notion of where any specific beer might be located in the shop. Still, a decent selection of beers at not a terrible markup!
Got into Cincinnati at about 11 on a Friday night and I knew this place was open until midnight, giving me my only chance to get some good stuff before a quick, busy weekend in town. Picked up some AleSmith, Buckeye, and a few others not available in Missouri, where I live. The place isn’t much to look at inside or out, but no inch of square footage is wasted. Wine racks are everywhere. A table with some mix-a-six options is on the left, with boxes surrounding it. Beer refrigerators line the left wall, with the beer shelves on the left side of the store. I wanted a YuleSmith Summer, and while they had it, it was the 2009 and not 2010 edition. Tons of craft stuff available here- TBK, DFH, Stone, Bell’s, 21st Amendment, Hoppin’ Frog, Two Brothers, Allagash, The Bruery, Ithaca, and lots more. The service is friendly, the hours are great- just be sure to check the dates on bottles if available.
A hidden gem in the Cincinnati area. Nice enough looking establishment. Next to a Skyline Chili. Very friendly staff. better organized than past reviews seem to suggest. Nice selection which featured countless bottles I’ve not seen in other stores. Prices are as expected. Check this place out; I can almost guarantee that you will be pleasantly surprised.
