Warehouse vibe with full view of Brewhouse and cellar inside, cool porch outside, fairly slow on a Friday night, but within spitting distance of a lot of other breweries in Miramar area. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of styles to choose from, sours to IPAs, wheats to barrel aged stouts, all above average. It's on the list of fun ones to check out in San Diego in my book.

Very clean, descent selection, poor inside seating, good outside seating, "too cool" guys pouring beer and virtually no food. The store had some cool stuff. The Tusk and Grain beers were very good. SA beers were good but nothing that blew me away.
Le narcissisme rayonnant de cette brasserie maintenant dans les mains d’une macrobrasserie. Leurs produits sont loins d’être désagréables la plupart du temps mais n’ont rien d’épatantes point de vue créativité. Je passe.
Definitely a new favorite. Kinda cool place not that far from Alesmith. Beers were really good, some of them amazing. Service was good. Was starting to get crowded on a late Thursday afternoon. Definitely recommended.
Yet another large industrial garage brewpub in Miramar. Visited right before they were closing. One of the biggest positive surprises on my San Diego trip. Really tasty hoppy beers. Would have liked to try out a lot more of their beers, but didn’t have time for that.
Visited on a Thursday evening. Good location near a lot of other San Diego breweries. This may be one of the nicest in the area as well, with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating as well as a spacious interior. These guys are marketing their brand well with lots of apparel and gear for sale and a strong connection to the surfing and skating culture. They certainly know who they are and are pursuing a certain image for themselves. The service was average. Nothing to complain or rave about, and the beers were all good. Pretty impressive quality throughout a good range of styles. I actually liked the darker stuff better than their hoppy beers, but that’s just me. Plenty of stuff on tap, and I can see spending some time here in the future. Overall, probably on the second tier of must visit breweries in San Diego.
a surprisingly stellar line of beers, especially after coming from a few favorite places in the hours and days prior to this visit. wherehouse w nice outdoor seating. good versions of classic styles like wit and brown, and fantastic hoppy and coffee beers.
