Dark wood and plenty of windows. Great service--very attentive and fairly knowledgeable, Have about 8 of their own brews and a wide-rangign 6-7 guest taps.
Food pretty normal pub-grub (burnt fries) but we ddin’t sample their higher end dishes . $3 pints at happy hour is a fine deal. Helping to restore downtown ’Couve.
Visited on a Saturday afternoon and pretty much had the place to ourselves so we got to chat with the friendly owners and waitstaff. The beer sampler platter was around $8 and consisted of 7 4oz samples plus 3 2oz ones. My favorites were the Scottish, Irish Red and Brother Larry’s Belgian. Overall, very high quality brews with unique takes on different styles. Didn’t get a chance to try any food but it looked like standard brewpub fare. Definitely worth making a trip to downtown Vancouver.
Ordinary place, nothing special. Very friendly and knowledgeable service though. The beers were OK but very un-American as there’s little hop present. The appetizers were pretty OK but the main courses were not that great. Would I go back? Maybe for the pretty and enthusiast waitress but not for the food or beer.

Small bar and tables brew pub adorned with framed quotations about beer. Very friendly and attentive service. Very good pulled pork sandwich. They were out of two of their signature selections, the stout and the dubbel. Outdoor seating for good weather,
Little pub split into two sides I think. The bar side was nice, small place, but they had 9 beers on tap. The staff was really nice. Beers were decent, they had a nice stout. The variety of beers was nice, they had some typical northwest styles, english porter, german alt, belgian quad.
The raters that rated this place must be visually impaired! Salmon Creek is one of the warmest and most attractive pubs in the Northwest! The rare African wood bar appointed with regularly hand polished brass is a work of art! ... as are the pressed tin ceilings. The new back bar is as gleaming as everything else about Salmon Creek. They recently opened a full liquor bar and installed new brewing equipment. Their yields and consistency of brews is much improved. The brick and ivy covered patio is a one-of-a-kind experience. The homemade food is fabulous and changes regularly. Larry and Anna are two of the warmest proprietors you would ever want to meet!
If you haven’t been to Salmon Creek in a while, you are doing yourself a disservice in not seeking it out if you are ever in the Portland - Vancouver area.
A small brewpub, with halfway decent, mostly Belgium style brews. I almost missed this place driving by as well. A very well managed mom and pop establishment. The pub was very clean, and warm. I have tested my taste buds for lunch at this pub a few times, and have always had a good experience.
