This is a great bar for craft beers. THey had a brewer from Breckenridge, CO when I was there last. Great events promoting craft beer. Detailed draft and bottle menu that changes every month. Highly recommended.
With bangers and lace and bad apple this is another spot which has lots of new to market beers. They have 3-4 bars and a biergarten so its spread out between some bars serving staples and some serving unique offerings. The food is good including the brunch but not out of this world. Good place.
Stumbled into the place on the way back to Ohio from Dark Lord Day 09. Staff was so accomodating they went out of their way to make sure we tried everything. I didnt know about the other 2 bars when we got there. they were having us sample stuff from all three bars and the patio. beer selection was fabulous, stuff we cant get in ohio.Food was excellent, Bbq. We were the only ones there on a sunday morning about 11right at opening time and were treated exceptional. A must stop for anyone going to chicago. I cant wait to go back
Impressive draft list spread out over 3 bars and an outside tap. Excellent food/bbq. Many beers not available in Ohio on tap. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, really impressed. A definite must visit when in Chicago.
Dogfish Head Fort
Surly 16 Grit
Dark Horse Crooked Tree IPA
New Belgium Eric’s Ale
Definitely one of the places that I like to hit up for a good time. The place is huge with three bars, all of which have different offerings. If it isn’t too busy, the bartenders are even willing to go between bars to get you what you need. Prices are good and the do have a cask offering. The only issue with that is that it doesn’t really turn over. Overall, a great place to spend a day drinking. excellent. The food is pretty damn tasty as well, though I don’t usually eat...
Finally checked this place out. Quite impressed. I went on a Sunday afternoon to finihs watching a Cubs game. It was pretty empty. This place is cool it has a beer garden, nice indoor sitting area and they just started this thing called a beer school in the back room, which I did not attend. The staff was nice. Selection was quite big, bigger than I antisapated. The beer menue is on this small type of a book with a good description of the beer along with the price. Price there was not bad. Taps were mostly local stuff like Kalamazoo Porter, Wheat & Amber, Two Brothers, FFF, Goose Island and some other goddies. Overall a great place, better than any place near Wrigleyville.
we ate and drank at this place for less than they were asking for 2 tix to the game! awesome rennovations since we were there last year. unfortunately didn’t get to do the beer school stuff in the back. great selection of bottles and decent on draft stuff. met the GM when I was there and he chatted with us for a while. This would be my first choice in wrigleyville area.
