Went to two different Sheriff stores in Tiraspol. They had a single local beer - Nashe Pivo Klassicheskoe (which is actually ok). The rest was Moldovan, Ukrainian and Russian macros.

This is the first place you see after entering Bender in which you can buy beer it seems. You can also change money here and may or may not be offered some special commemorative Transdniestrian coins for $2 a pop by the money exchange lady. They only had one local beer when I was there and when I bought a bunch they gave me a plastic coin for change that looked like a gambling chip. The guy behind me in line laughed out loud when I looked at it like "what the hell is this?"

I have been in the Sheriff in Tiraspol. They had two beers from transdniestra and everything else you get in a better Supermarket.

Went to the one in Tiraspol. There are three beers from Transnistria, and you can find them all in bottles here. Otherwise, just a grocery store. Good selection of cheap dried fish, Russian style.

Thanks to Boystout for hooking me up with beers from Transnistria, all of which are available at this supermarket chain. I did not factor the bribe we had to pay at the border to get out of the territory, since itís not the supermarketís fault that the Transnistrian border guards are corrupt and underpaid! The store accepts only the local currency, but you can exchange cash inside the store, or use the cash machine just outside.
