The restaurant is actually pretty fun for a few friends to sit out on the patio and have a few beers. The 14 beer taster is really good to get a full selection of different brews. I suggest going in the winter so you can get the Bigfoot barley wine. While you are there grab a few six packs. One of the servers told me he had a 15 y/o bigfoot that tasted pretty amazing. I wouldb’t say go out of your way but it is a great place to sit on the patio, drink and have a few snacks.

April 2008 - I drove 75 minutes to get here, and I must say, I was a bit let down. What I discovered is a massive compound of commercialism, complete with a gaudy overpriced gift shop. The tour is a self-guided walk above their impressive brewhouse, complete with gigantic Euro-style copper kettles in an open-air sudhaus. The connected restaurant is just another wanna-be-upscale restaurant/pub that happens to serve the entire collection of SN regulars, plus a couple you might not find elsewhere (although all the beers were quite centerist and unadventurous). The food was good enough, if unoriginal. The service in the restaurant was indifferent at best, as if they could care less. All the staff seemed more interested in flirting amongst themselves than with keeping my beer glass full. Worth a stop if you’re in the neighborhood, but I’d put this in my files along with other ’original’ craft breweries that are now nothing short of Busch Juniors (see Pyramid, Portland, Big Rock, et al) and won’t go out of my way again. I always stop in when I’m in town. The food is great. The beer is great. They usually have a one-off or two on tap. Very nice vibe and the service is great.

Very nice room with lots of wood and lots of copper (bartop, taps, even the air conditioning duct). Nice view of one of the brewing rooms from the waiting area. Food was good, especially the gorgonzola pasta my wife ordered. Beer sampler contained every beer they served on draft, 14 total the night I went (very nice!)

Downer: lack of cask ale - at least in my experience. Upper: great selection of ale and the food is first rate.

Pretty impressed, even if I’m not entirely a huge fan of their beers. The place is beautiful, though the bar should be bigger. Our waitress was spot-on, not having to write down anything we wanted for an order of 5, including beers and food and 5 other tables to boot. Service was fast, the food was good and the 15 beer sample platter was pretty fun to rip through. Got to have a glass of BA Bigfoot, which was the real treat of the day. Nice gift shop and quick brewery tour. Recommended, even if not a big fan of the beers. I’ll definitely return when back in the area. Also notable is that you’ll get to try several of their offerings you won’t try in any other pub or store.

Good selection of beers. Excellent, outdoor beer garden complete with overhead "misting" system for hot, desert days. Nice gift shop. Good appetizers. I’m not a big fan of their beers, but they must have had twelve or more on tap when I visited.
