Awesome store. 4 OR 5 coolers all full of big bottles of great stuff. I just wish there was more 12 oz single bottles. Really nice staff that was super helpful. The no break sixers is prob the reason for low selection of 12 oz singles. Oh well still awesome.
About twice the size of their old place. Much nicer and (surprise) newer. More coolers and I would expect the selection to grow in the next few months. Great prices and friendly staff. One of my favorite texas spots.
Looks like your typical strip center liquor store (all liquor and only macro beers), but don’t let that fool you. This place has a selection that rivals major-chain liquor stores, AND they have glassware. Great place- definite stop if you’re in the area.
great place for the dallas area. they don’t let you break sixers, but they are very friendly and tend to get the new stuff first. the staff might not know everything about micros but they try and they tend to remember me and go out of thier way to alertt me to new stuff. plus they are usually a bit less expensive than mr g’s and some central market stuff. it is my primary shopping place.
O.k... so I stopped by here (I live in mckinney) because of you guy’s here at rate beer! I’m glad I did! The selection for me was about the same as mr. g’s or central market execept that they had avery’s Samael’s beer which I haven’t found at any other beer store in the dallas area and they had a better selection of belgian beers. but they lacked in other beer’s such as british and the like. Although central market tends to get the new beers faster than anyone else, and mr. g’s lets you break up 6-packs, this store was great! not to mention the nice glassware selection and awesome service. The other thing I liked was that they kept all their beers cold (including all of the belgium abbye style beers). I actually found the prices to be comparable to mr. g’s and central market (you can buy dogfish 90 Min. ipa for 8.99 here, whereas it’s 9.99 at mr. g’s). This will be a place I frequent a little more often!
Stopped by on RollinHard’s recommendation. I was impressed by the nice selection. They had beers I had never seen and different selections from breweries I had. I picked up some good finds! They even had some nice glassware. VERY helpfull staff.
S&K has a normal beer and wine store ambiance and good service. The staff is friendly, but they don’t go above and beyond to help you. Their selection is excellent considering they have lots of rare beers and over 250 total. They had a tasting the first time I went and were not stingy because they suggested I tried a sample of everything they had out. This is absolutely a great place to for beer that I will visit for many times to come.
