Cozy pub with lots of locals enjoying their lunch when I visited, so the (traditional Lithuanian) food they served must be good. Limited selection of beers, but samples were given as a matter of fact. And the beer was fresh and very tasty.

Enjoyable pub not terribly far from the train/bus stations but still firmly in the city centre. A few good ales on tap and a smaller bottle selection. It lacks the atmosphere of some of the nearby bars (and the Užupio Šnekutis) but quality is similar. Filling, cheap food to soak up the beer.
Compared to the other Šnekutis this one is more conveniently located and in a lively part of town. Similar quality/quantity as far as tap selection is concerned, I even found the bottle selection (beer fridge next to the bar) of this Old Town location to be a little more extensive than the Užupis location. Food is typical Lithuanian pub food, pretty similar to the Užupis location. So far so good, however this Old Town location lacks the atmosphere of the Užupis location. Of course it is Lithuanian food and Lithuanian beer and people speak Lithuanian, but other than that and this could be a city pub anywhere on the planet. We went a few times to both locations and even the crowd is totally different, Užupis has a more varied and friendly crowd while the Old Town had a younger more “hip” crowd (by Lithuanian standard). Still this Old Town location is a mandatory stop, but
