Excellent selection of countryside beers and excellent countryside food. Nothing made just to imitate style, just a place as it is and thus trustable.

I’m a frequent visitor of the one in Užupis. Definitely more cozy than Alaus Namai. I recommend to try Jovaru beer with large beans snack (cost only 3 litas, which is about 0,70 euro).

Compared to the other Šnekutis this one is more conveniently located and in a lively part of town. Similar quality/quantity as far as tap selection is concerned, I even found the bottle selection (beer fridge next to the bar) of this Old Town location to be a little more extensive than the Užupis location. Food is typical Lithuanian pub food, pretty similar to the Užupis location. So far so good, however this Old Town location lacks the atmosphere of the Užupis location. Of course it is Lithuanian food and Lithuanian beer and people speak Lithuanian, but other than that and this could be a city pub anywhere on the planet. We went a few times to both locations and even the crowd is totally different, Užupis has a more varied and friendly crowd while the Old Town had a younger more “hip” crowd (by Lithuanian standard). Still this Old Town location is a mandatory stop, but

This Pub has a beer collection of about 13 beertaps all from small breweries, and some bottles. One beer 0,5l is about 1,30€ (5lt), the food which was served really fast was also good and cheap. So good beer, good prices, good service and nice location!

A wonderful pub just outside old town Vilnius in an old rundown block. Owner Aurimas stands in the bar, like a modern beer messiah dressed in a white robe with a long beard, while his wife takes care of the kitchen. Both food (zeppelin) and beer was of high quality and I really enjoyed the rustic layout of the place. My favorite in Vilnius.

Yup - totally awesome! Didn’t get to spend nearly as much time here as I might have liked, but it was well worth the trip nonetheless. Very close to the bus station which is nice as well. Lots of farmhouse ales on offer wi a fridge full of stuff for takeaway as well. Not a whole lot of English, but pointing will get you what you need. Mustachioed owner was in good spirits the night we were in and was willing to pose for our touristy shots. Sort of a low din when we were in lending it a nice cozy vibe. Definitely a must see if you’re here

First stop on our Lithuanian tour with nate2g, Vidma and Sigi. Small bar up front where you order or stand at, and a whole bunch of tables that seem to go back a long way. Solid list of traditional beers on tap plus two coolers of interesting local bottles. Full meals available from breakfast through dinner including the usual beer snacks. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Great place.
