Visited late on a Sunday, 15 minutes before closing, so I was just happy they agreed to accomodate me. 4 ounce pours are $2.50 per, which is a little higher than normal, but the fries she gave us as an appetizer were perfect. No other food this trip though, so I can’t provide an accurate rating. Really nice evening ambiance on the elevated patio overlooking the bay. The staff was friendly, and it would be worth a return trip.
As you walk in the door you see the brewery. Also, a big restaurant with plenty of seating. Upstairs is the pub. An old English pub feeling. Good service, good beer and good food! You can’t go wrong. Both time we visited it was late. Suppose to have a great view of the bay and mountains during the day. Guess I’ll have to make another trip.
Snow Goose Restaurant has its own in-house brewery, Sleeping Lady (also used by Anchorage Brewing Co), on the ground floor, visitors pass it on the way in from 3rd Ave. The restaurant is built like a classic English style pub, with brown wooden furniture and wood panels. Outside they’ve got a lower and upper deck where visitors can enjoy the view of distant mountains on sunny days. Food was very tasty, the beer selection was varied with a few tasty seasonal beers (such as the Cherry Grand Cru). All in all a very nice place to enjoy a good meal and some good beer in downtown Anchorage. Visited: 2014-07-30

Downtown. Great views of the bay/river. Anchorage Brewing contract brews here too. About a dozen taps but nothing out of the ordinary. Beers were solid though. American style menu a bit on the pricey side but food was decent. Not the most vibrant place but a nice place to visit if downtown.
Stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon with the wife. The service was very responsive and able to answer all my questions. Very spacious locations as we ate on the pub floor. The beer selection was pretty vast and you could get other locals on tap/bottle other than Sleeping Lady brand. Last but not least the view from the upstairs is very scenic.
Right on the water I can see why this place rocks in the summer. Great beers and great views this has it all. The food is also pretty good. Must try the beers and the heavier brews are to die for. Great brewer and love the Anniversary beer.
Head upstairs for a more intimate pub-like atmosphere and, on a clear day, sweeping views of the bay, the mountain ranges and the two highest mountains in Alaska. Food is OK and the beers are solid. The specialty beers, also available as tasters, are top notch.
Visited during the afternoon one day. Quite a few beers are on tap. Most of the offerings were merely average. Didn’t try the food. Average prices for the area. The view is great, so I recommend sitting outside of the weather is right. I probably would have rated this higher had there not been so many other great places in Anchorage.
Decent place, just few steps away from downtown Hilton and other downtown hotels. Nice views from the patio. Food is a bit on the pricey side.

Nice feel to the place with a mixture of locals and tourists in the upstairs bar. Great rooftop patio for summer. Brews are above average, with a decent selection of six regulars and occasional one-offs. Food is excellent and a good value for Alaska.
