A really small craft beer bar. Simple interior, more or less worn down furniture from a dumpster. But, hey? Isn't that craft vibes? Comics on the walls. Limited seating and toilets upstairs. Varied music - from Duran Duran to Nirvana. Tried two beers: Horizont Gentle Bastard and Foti Bitang Joe. (Visited March 26th 2018 with my wife)
This was not on my list to visit, but we walked past it and decided to stop for a last beer of the evening. Tiny place lacking atmosphere with a run down look. Relatively small but serviceable selection of a handful of taps and about 20 bottles. Pretty cheap. Hardly essential but not bad for a few beers.
Visited on 25th May 2017. Small modern looking craft beer bar just up the road from Szimpla. It’s got some upstairs seating and a small room at ground floor, 6 taps and a decent bottle selection. Beer range had a solid mix of Hungarian craft beer on keg. Prices and service was good. Definitely worth a stop.
Didn’t plan to visit this one, but as we were walking down the street we’ve seen a craft beer sign so decided to come in for a drink. Small place, not too much of an atmosphere, but we did have a nice talk with the owner. 6 beers on tap and some bottles, as far as I know all Hungarian. Not essential by any means, but if nearby OK for a short stop.
Very small and rather loud place. The service was okay but nothing more. The pulled pork burger was good, but the fries were undercooked, and there was no dipping. The selection had plenty of Hungarian craft bottles, which was exactly what I came here for.

Lots of different local bottles here. Food is mediocre. Service likewise. Atmosphere is like a grillbar.
Small not very cozy bar. 4 taps and apr. 30 bottles all hungarian microes. Had the bar to myself thursday evening so might not be the in place in Budapest. (The kew infront szimpla Kirt was apr. 200 !) Friendly service. OK beerplace.
