Went on a tour in September 2015. Cute little brewery downtown Toronto. One of the first craft breweries in Ontario. Hip and all about being green. Very enthusiastic guide. They do only a pilsner, but they do it well. The tour is so worth it, as you get as much beer as you want to drink onsite plus a free gift. The bar is always packed because of the free beer, so better go early.
Big brewery in an old building next to the railway museum. They advertise their free toilets and give free samples, and have good free wifi too. Their one beer was decent enough for a free one. Nice place to hop into if youíre in the neighborhood. Free beer!
Huge brewery downtown with free parking. Pretty commercial and not very exciting with only one beer, but if you are downtown a nice stop. Free samples and you can buy larger beer and pretzels. Tours fill up, so call ahead if that is your interest. Very tourist friendly.
Absolutely packed with tour groups. I didnít bother doing the tour as I was happy to not linger here. The filtered and unfiltered pils is available for a free sample. Worth a visit to experience a slice of Toronto beer history.
Difficult to rate as this brewery produces only one beer, but the place is key part of Torontoís craft beer history. Central location, worth stopping by for a sip of the unfiltered version of their flagship Pilsner. Also if you book a free tour of the brewery, donít forget to blow the steam whistle :)
Stopped in here as a snowstorm was rolling through the area. Donít know if that kept people away or not, but it was only moderately busy. As we walked in, we noticed an area that you could register to take a tour of the facility and pick up pretzel orders. We did neither of those things. As we were waiting for some of our cohorts to finish up in the restroom, we were asked if we wanted a sample of their beer. Sure! Free beer is always welcome. They make two beers total. One is available in the tap room and the other is available if you take the tour (I think). We didnít want to pay to take the tour, so we just drank our samples and left. Somewhat of a modern industrialized brewery environment. Lots of seating, even multiple floors of it. Might be fun to hang out here for a little bit, but I think I would want to bring my own beer.
Went here with my family while on a Toronto brewery tour. Great central location with generous free samples available. The tour was booked so couldnít take it but the staff were friendly. Wonderful atmosphere - be sure to ask to try the unfiltered version which is only available on tap here.
