Very helpful staff. I asked for some NG stuff that was warm and the beer person working got some for me. I have been to both locations a few times each now. I prefer the Mineral Point store as it seems to have a better selection. Nice place, but the emphasis is on 6 packs in the cooler. Still a solid location, I picked up lots of new stuff on my latest visit. No more walking into the cooler to get at their small singles selection.
Not much for singles (except for growlers of Lake Louie beers). Did carry some hard to find Viking, New Glarus and some Central Waters. Did have Bells and some New Holland from Michigan. Overall good selection and worth going to again.

Great store. Good (not great) selection of imports. Can mix singles of select beers only, but they mix it up very well. Seem to rotate stock very well. Wisconsin is well represented, and they have lots of Bell’s products. Have a fantastic selection of artisinal cheeses, esp. Carr Valley (one of the best in the country). Excellent wine selection (their forte). Staff is more knowledgeable of wine than beer, but their service is usually excellent.

The best place for beer and other beverages in Madison. The University & Midvale location also has hard-to-find meats and cheeses (my preferred store). Sales people are very helpful and fairly knowledgable about beer. Beer is also stored well. Lots of 6ers but plenty of singles. More Belgians than elsewhere in the area.

Best in Madison for selection and care in storage. Both stores generally employ competent and helpful people. There’s another store on University at Midvale.
Notable for some really hard to find Wisconsin Micros (Viking, Lake Louie) and a good selection of single imports and fancier micros, most of which are in a darkened walk in cooler. Less light=less skunking. We like that. Pricey, but as of this writing, you get 10% your singles if you buy six or more. Good store, good people.
