Came here because they recently brewed a new beer here. Unsure if that is going to happen regularly now (not too likely I would think). In general they have the Stiegl range of beers. I would recommended the place, if its warm enough to sit outside (big garden and all). In general the place is quite big place, but it can also get quite busy. Overall just OK place, there are lots of other beer places that I recommend before I would start suggesting this one.
Was owned by Stiegl in the past, they also brewed some special beers on site. Now it has been sold and brewery stopped operations. In winter they have a very nice area with leather couches. Would recommend to come here in December during the Christmas market.
Located in the grounds of University campus. Obviously only the Stiegl range of beers available and nothing special. Service is quite slow when I was there. Only worth having a look if you are in the area.
The place was quiet when we visited, most likely because of the holidays. Huge establishment, easy to tell that there is a large investor behind it. The brewery on display is nice and shiny. The fermentation pools are behind glass, but that’s understandable as they use open fermantation pools. High class toilets, with LCD in the mirror, Dyson hand dryer, all sparkly coverings. I didn’t ahve any food, but others at the table liked it. Beers were nothing to die for. Weird lights, somewhat pink, which kind of makes the beer look strange. The beers were not too exciting.
This place sucks really. Strangely located inside the University grounds. It’s quite lively with people and attracts a mix of students, lecturers and families. Beers are shit - just the regular Stiegl range with a house brew that was shockingly bad. The girls serving are cute and friendly so that’s probably worth going for.
Located in the University campus, so not so difficult to find. Lots of people inside, not so good beers, slow service. Nice toilette with TV in the middle of mirror. Brewing equipment behind the glass.
This place can be a lot of fun, but it is crowded, service is slow, and sometimes hard to get a seat in the summer. Beer is decent, food too. Worth a stop if you are in the area, which I was, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.
A bit difficult to find - but then you don’t need to, it’s not worth it. Slowest service ever, still nothing after 20 minutes, lots of service around, but what are they doing. The ones bringing beers are not allowed to take orders, and the ones taking orders are.... where ??? Finally got the beer and a cola, in to different servings, strange. I hurried paying, then I was sure to leave when I finished the beer.
Rather large L-shaped room that could be described as student canteen with white cloths on the tables and the brewery in the middle. Some x-mas decorations. Slow service, but good food and average beer (visited 04.12.2007).
