OK, this is my third separate trip here and it is time to take a few notes. Like a lot of places in these parts parking is hit or miss. If there’s the slightest event going on around here it can be down right rough. Nice build out with attractive architecture that seems right for this strip of business but a bit out of place for this old neighborhood, but it’s all good. Well, the lack of an A/C is per the area but not so much fun when it is around a 100F like this last Saturday. Each visit the staff has been friendly, attentive and efficient even when it is busy. I don’t know how some of them can enjoy talking craft beer with you can still get so much done. Kudos! The disappointment I have about this place is each visit has had me heading home with a growler fill of a core beer (I do like the core brews though). I have yet to see anything in bottle or draft outside of the core offerings. Stone, give a little love to this place and send more than a slim that is drained in under an hour.

Ambiance is alright, staff is helpful, value is great (4 tasters and a tasting glass for $6). Selection is, of course, limited to Stone but how can you complain about getting Double Bastard on tap? Limited to one beer over 7%, which sucks because Stone’s best are pretty strong, but whatever. A decent stop, with lots of bombers and merchandise available.

Newish Stone store and tasting room in South Park. Laid back place where you can fill growlers and buy everything from bottles to glassware to clothing. They have 8-10 taps with all the standard stuff plus 2-3 limited release taps on the far right. You can do a taster flight for $6 and keep the glass. They release new stuff on Fridays and it can get busy.
