Came here for lunch straight from the airport. Sat outside on the lovely patio. Service was excellent. Selection was impressive. Many of the regular Stone standards, plus a nice selection of stuff you will only find at this location. Several guest taps too, along with a huge bottle selection. The food was all top notch and very tasty. Be warned however - it’s very close to the end of the airport runway. Screaming jetliners taking off at full bore!

Visited on 13th November 2014. Huge venue near to the Airport, we sat in the extensive, clean tidy beer garden. Place was pretty quiet when we visited. Had a great range of Stone beers on tap, beers were good quality and prices good. Ate here and the food was excellent. Prices good too and service was excellent. Really liked this place.

Killer spot, and that’s all there is to it. The grounds are crazeballs with indoor areas, outdoor areas, everything. Just keeps going back. Maybe topped only by the original Stone World Bistro & Gardens. Selection is pretty good with maybe 30 beers on tap, Stone and otherwise. Food is very good. Prices are on the high side, but not outrageous.

This is one of my favorite places to visit for beer in San Diego. Given the selection around here that’s saying something. I love the whole gigantic open air seating area, which is great even in winter. They have natural gas heating to keep you warm if needed. The food is excellent, and Stone beers are always top notch.

Visited on a Sunday night. This place is beautiful, but a little hard to get to. I opted for a 35 minute walk from my hotel in Old Town. The Liberty Station area keeps adding more and more restaurants. There was quite a bit more going on this visit than when I was here last year. Still, Stone itself was pretty dead. I was one of only two people at the giant circle bar inside, and there were only a handful of people at tables nearby. The garden areas outside are very nice with lots of native plants and a design that embraces the San Diego climate. I’m sure tons of money was put into this place. It seems to have more of an upscale restaurant feel to it than a brewery. I didn’t try the food, but it seems like it would be a great place for date night or a special dinner. The service was excellent. There were several different people manning the bar even though there were only two of us to serve. They all were happy to chat about the beers and beer in general. As far as the tap list goes, it was phenomenal. Lots of house beers, other Stone beers and a good selection of top quality locals. Can’t complain about that. I guess there are two other bars within the facility as well with mostly the same beers, but a few different. I didn’t venture around too much on this visit, but I know they have a shop where you can pick up Stone gear and fill growlers. Overall, this is one of the nicest beer places I’ve been to. Even better than Stone’s Escondido facility. A bit too fancy for me to give top scores to (I like a more casual atmosphere) but a must visit without a doubt.

Very nice, relaxing establishment. Had a waterfall/fountain right by the bar, which looked into a glass see through wall where all the tanks were. Plenty of tables inside and out. Did not go outside, but it looked like it was a nice area. Decent sized retail store attached. Beer menu was fairly extensive with a solid amount of brews from other state/local breweries as well.

Sort of located in the middle of a plaza and next to the US marine base. The selection of food is good and service is as you’d expect at a brew pub. Not all of the staff are knowledgeable about the beer as my server was not. Otherwise, the choice of beer is reasonable (Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti surprised me) and the prices are about the same. Great if you’re going with a big group or just want to sit around and drink a few beers.

The biggest drawback of this place: It’s right in the flight path of the airport, so if you’re sitting outside you have a plane flying over your head every 60-75 seconds. It’s loud. Has the same awesome outdoor "beer-garden" vibe of all the other Stone locations, along with a great draft selection. They frequently brew new stuff so there’s usually a few new Stone offerings, as well as a few new local offerings. Service is spotty if you go for dinner; we went on a Wednesday night with my parents and out waiter pretty clearly was working 1 or 2 tables too many. Food was average. Fine. Not bad. Between the four of us, no one got a "Oh man you have to try this" meal. But again, not bad. It’s a crowded beer scene in San Diego, and this isn’t even the best Stone location.

I don’t exactly know what to think about this place. It’s a nice exterior but... it feels like it’s a setup. Everything is really clinical. Yes, the beer selection is impressive but where’s the craft beer soul?

Very fun cool place. Unfortunately the outdoor area was full so sat inside. Staff were friendly. Food was good. A few motels near by if you want to have a few. Best if you be outside.
