Ambiance - it’s not classy at all, it really has a dedicated clientele of what appears to be college kids. It’s a large island bar with about 24~26 taps ~ lots of bottles. They do have bands, and it looks like a place you want to be on a Friday night, if you like to party hard.
Service - maybe a little understaffed, because the bar service seemed to be rushed, this was on a Sunday night it had maybe 20 people. Not everyone of the bartenders knew what they did and didn’t have and what beers were what.
Selection - they have a lot, and what they do have is really good as well. I mean Goose Island Bourbon County Stout on draft?! You know your going to have some good beers around.
Food - massive portions, your standard type of college pub faire, burgers, wraps, sliders stuff like that. Food was good for what it was.
Value - left not at all disappointed with our bill which was
Fried Pickles, 4 BBQ Pork Sliders, Shrimp, Coke, Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, and a Firestone Double Jack.

This place replaced what was known as Jelly Beans... I must say it has gone above and beyond of once was a nightmare of a bar. To start their beer selection is extensive fropm tap to bottle list, you can expect a constant rotation of many different beers from Hop heads to Stouts! Atmosphere is comfortable and spacious, food is amazing espically their cheesestakes! Everything is at a great price, something that wont break the bank... Owner is always on say and more then knowledable about his selection and willing to chat with patorns. So if you’re in the are and looking for great beer, awesome serivce, good food, and cheap prices then stop by Strange Bew.
