Fantastic facility, great tour. The tour guide we had was knowledgeable and fun. The tour is "free" with the only charge being a canned food donation. They gave us 4 full-sized samples after the tour. I really donít have anything to complain about!

Summit has been near the top of my want-to-visit breweries for a long time. Finally made it on a luckily sunny Saturday afternoon and was pleased all the way around. The staff in the tasting room and gift shop were equally friendly and down-to-earth. Summitís lineup seems fairly steady, so I didnít get to drink anything new. But their beers are always good to great, regular choices for the fridge when I can find them. It was fun to quaff a couple on the sunny patio. The on-scene food truck offered some tasty snacks as a nice addition. Iíd be a regular visitor if I could. (Brewery #652)

Brewery was very neat to see and fun to learn how Summit grew. Fun to see the brewery, plus you get 3 beers (8 oz) of any of the taps they have available at the time. I recommend this highly (as this is free) if you like visiting breweries.

Big, open taproom with plenty of bench seating. The bar is located in a corner keeping the seating area more open. There is a patio area as well and some game are available. Food trucks are also there quite frequently. Solid place that is worth visiting.

Very nice and large taproom with kind of limited hours. The seating is numerous and they have food trucks quite often. They have lots of outdoor seating and plenty of outdoor games. They have events just about every weekend as well. Their beer is top notch. They do nothing big and over the top but their beer is spot on. It is definitely a place I have never had a bad beer form.

I really enjoyed the tour. I understand the Brewery is small so the tour is not very long. But it is free and you do get 3 free beers at the end. The person who gave the tour was really nice and answered everyones questions. I recomend it.

Went for a tour last week and had a relatively informative tour of the building, quite a few annoying women in the group that made the tour guide hard to hear at times. Ended with 4 free beers, which I made sure to get their awesome oatmeal stout.

Very clean, new-looking building. Tour was given by Doug Hoverson, author of a book about the history of Minnesota brewing called Land of Amber Waters. He was a great tour guide given his near encyclopedic knowledge of all things beer. The tour was free and came with three wooden coins for 1 free drink each. The sampling glasses were 10 oz or so. 30 oz of beer for free is a steal no matter how you cut it. They had their rare Oatmeal Stout on tap (great!) I would do this tour again the next time Iím in town simply for the fantastic Summit beers.

The Summitt Brewery is a pretty nice place to learn about the history of one of Minnesotaís larger breweries. They produce a pretty solid product on a rather large scale for this region. Itís a good place to check out if youíre visiting MN and want to see something other than the Mall of America. Check out the Oatmeal Stout if itís available. You donít find that one at most liquor stores. The staff there is extremely friendly.

Nice and informative tour of the brewery. I tend to ask lots of questions on these tours and the staff was pretty well informed. When they didnít know an answer, they had no problem getting me an assistant brewer afterwards to answer my more detailed questions about their process. In all honesty Summit hasnít really stuck out to me beer wise. They may not have the most extreme or creative beers in the area, but the beers they make are good clean examples of the styles the represent, and I think this tour helped me appreciate them more.
