Allston is not the easiest place to get to for me, but I finally got to this place today - and was not dissapointed. Big inside. Lots going on. Staff is super friendly and knowledgable about their brews. I only had an app for food, but it was well made and tasty. Beer selection is impressive, even if much of the rarer stuff is on the pricy side. Still a lot of goot $5-$6 pints too.
big place with really good ambiance. lots and lots of brews priced on the higher side but the place is nice so... good service and good food the sights are nice in here. hey they got the beers here and the taps seem clean.
One of the best beer bars in MA...definitely a must vist while anywhere near Boston. This place is a lot of fun although it can get quite crowded. Used to visit frequently when me son lived a couple of towns away. Check it out if in the area...
Spent too much time here during college...not because it was awesome just because that’s what you do in college. It’s about quantity not quality. There’s no way all those tap lines are fresh...I can tell you they weren’t. Average college bar food and service. Ambiance is just OK if you like a college vibe. Not that much interesting on tap.
Massive tap list that is a good 4+ pages long and varieties in every style imaginable. Food is also excellent with locations in Allston and across the street from the Boston College athletic center. Easy access to the Green Line at both locations.
Came here before EBF for the Short’s event. Quite the huge place and the taplist is indeed monstrous. The number of taps is certainly impressive, but aside from the rare Short’s beers they had on for the event, there wasn’t anything that seemed out of the ordinary, and would not be out of place at any decent craft beer bar. So it’s sort of like five of those type of places combined. Service was pretty good, especially considering that our table was myself, my wife, and two more RB guys, and three of us were ordering a sampler each much of the time.
