I love this place - itís definitely my favourite place to go late in the week after classes are over before a dinner out with friends. This is one of those places where more is merrier, as crowd size goes. Fridays are always the busiest. For $6 you get a pint glass and 6 tickets for half-pints of beer (high grav choices cost 2 tickets). Recently, the choices were Blue, 420 EPA, IPA, Brown, Hummer, and Festive Ale. They have promised that Happy Ending and Double Dís will return at the top of 2007. There is a tasting room with 2 bars and stools at the bar to sit at, but it gets really loud in there when people cram in. In the warmer weather seasons, they will utilize their fenced-in parking lot area for people to stand and sit, and they will set-up the outdoor taps, one on the patio and usually one in a mobile truck. Advice: bring your own chair to sit in if you want. Thereís also a merch table inside to purchase hats, shirts, posters, etc. if you want. Live music typically on the patio. Since itís close to GA Tech, you get a lot of younger college students as well as an older crowd after work. Definitely a must-go if you enjoy Sweetwater beers, but also if youíre just stopping by in town. Tours arenít great nor impressive...the tour guides ALWAYS talk too long and I always run out of beer mid-tour even if refilling right before going on one.
We went here after work . We had a great time and plan to go back, with a larger group this time, so more fun and more beer!

Toured in December 2004. Well, I didnít actually go on the tour, more like just showed up with friends to drink 4 of their beers for $5. I was very impressed with all of their beers. They give you 4 tickets and a cool glass beer mug, and you can sample any 4 of their beers they have on tap outside (when I went there were 5 different ones). Great deal, and I plan on going back this winter.
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday starting at 5:30pm you can go on a tour and drink 3 beers for $7. On most visits expect to be in a crowd of 100 to 200, and bring lawn chairs if you don’t want to stand. The last time I visited was on a Monday, and it was nearly empty. It is generally a younger crowd, but there are people of all ages and many bring their dogs. There is standing room outside, and a new indoor bar with bathrooms. I went summer 2005 and had several beers to choose from including the Summer Hummer. On the last visit there were only 3 beers available. (420, Exodus, Blue) There is frequently live music, and it is almost always a good time.
