Updating my review, leaving the older part further below. Not local to Malmö, but am Swedish. I do not visit every time I am in Malmö, but almost if I have the opportunity to do so. For sure the place in Malmö I most enjoy going to, and will go out of my way to visit if there is fairly reasonable to do so. My biggest issue being that I tend to stay longer and drink more than I anticipated, but that is mainly due to the large selection of beer, many or even most different every time I get there, as well as the great staff and atmosphere, that just makes me want to have "just one more beer perhaps". The mead tap hasn't been as frequent as planned, but the brewery plan to start their own mead making, so that dedicated mead tap is bond to come back fairly soon. Also growlers available for any beer of max 3.5% (Swedish alcohol laws forbid anything stronger to be sold for take away). Flights of 5 house beers available, I do not think they do sell flights of the guest beers, but you have the option of smaller or bigger pours of all draught beers. Recently seem to have started with karaoke some nights, up on the upper level though with the small separate beer, so no need to be subjected to it unless you opt for it. Very highly recommended from me, for sure the do not miss place in this city. Well worth both for locals and visitors to plan to make it here. Also I've eaten a couple of times more and never been disappointed, more towards grill and meat as far as I've looked at the menu. Well worth for both food and beers. Go for it, enjoy, write a place review!
Older review from 2015: Old Malmö Brygghus rebuilt in partly new rooms. First visited before they opened in March or April this year, but recently was back when actually opened. Tuesday June 9 I was there from opening until late. Wednesday June 10 I was there from 18 until late, also hosted a Poppels tap takeover and tasting that evening. 42 taps, 13 I think from Malmö Brygghus, 1 is a mead tap, 1 is for cider. Mainly Swedish, but also other craft beer on. California cuisine food. Both evenings a fair bit of people in there, though not really packed. Lots and lots of beers to choose from the taps, also one sour fridge and one fridge for misc bottles. In the two storied main room you have tables and benches, also upstairs you find a dart board and a couple of toilets. Outdoors seating available during summer. Friendly staff, quick service. Food was nice the one time I did eat here, had the shredded veal tacos. You can opt for a small or a big pour of any tap, samples for tasting seems to be no problem. You can still see the brewery when walking in the main door. Old pub had the upstairs with a smoking room, this is no longer used, so smoking is done outside. Fairly centrally located, parking on the street. Never been here by bus, but have seen buses and bus stops close by. WiFi available when asking for the password. As per info from the staff, a keg of guest beer on tap rarely last longer than two weeks, often less than so, rotated as soon as a beer sells out. Many of the Malmö own beers are served from 1000 liter serving tanks, so these typically last a bit longer then. Really nice place, highly recommend a visit, I will for sure be back every time I’m in Malmö! Don’t miss it.
Big place in 2 floors. Brick walls and loads of wood, quite cozy. Big bar with about 40 tap's, allthough alot was empty or marked "Sold out" 7 house beers with the 5 of them avaible in a flight. Average to good quality. Prices at more or less DK level.
This is a nice big brewpub a few minutes walk south of the city centre. Big selection of their own beers and also other stuff, big area that was luckily not too busy on a saturday afternoon (yet). The food was great, American barbeque though their concept of "chili" seemed to include only slow-roasted meat topped with cream.... where I come from "chili" usually has bean or two in there, but nonetheless it tasted great. Their beers were top notch too. Prices were Swedish (awful) but this was a great experience and I'd happily go again.

Big place with two floors and various seating areas that all have a different look. Upstairs is more light and dining-room like while downstairs it’s more a pub. 40 taps of beer and one cider tap, but they were out of about 10 of them. Guest taps were mostly UK stuff and some Mikkeller. Fridge with bottles, decent amount of lambic.
Service was very friendly, prices seamed reasonable and while their own beers were not great they were nice enough. Below are some reviews that are very critical about the service but I found it very friendly, fast and knowledgeable. Pretty good place overall.
Short walk from the city centre, far shorter than I initially thought looking at the map, luckily yespr set me straight & I went here. It is a very straightforward walk & easy to find. It is located in a more residential area. Interior is plain weird. It is huge with two levels, slightly below street level, lower area was where all the action was happening. Interior is hideous, most of looks like some kind of cheap Turkish restaurant or something to that effect, it lacks in proper lightning, they seem to prefer having their customers in the dark, maybe they don’t want to look at them? Tables and benches seem to belong to some king of dreadful BBQ joint. Total eyesore. About a dozen of their own beers on tap, sampler tray available, they list fixed beers but they are open to changing them, 5 samples come with each flight. The flight was for their own beers it seemed & not the guests. I have had 15 Malmö Brewing in the past, beers that I tried here didn’t seem to be their best work which was a big weird. Fair service, friendly. They have also about 25 gues taps, many of these were Nøgne Ø beers so they lacked some brewery variety, not sure if they just had a tap takeover or this is normal. Rest was the likes of Mikkeller. Some bottles, saw a few that I had just seen at Systembolaget Hansa so nothing blew me away there. Food looked BBQ, meat forward, one vegetarian option. Didn’t eat here, got stuffed at a vegan shawarma place nearby which was ridiculous. Prices were okay for the area, maybe not as great for their own stuff as you could expect. An obvious visit if you are in Malmö but I wasn’t as impressed as I had hoped. Interior is quite ugly, beers were fair but not the best that I have had from them, lots of guest but focus on one brewery negated that a bit. Good, no brainer visit but not great.
Ett ställe med flera öl men med service som inte hör hemma på ett bra ställe. Ingen smakprovning för enligt bartendern här får jag inte skänka bort öl. Skit!!!
Tycker taproom börjar tappa i kvalitet o service. Folket i baren mer intresserade av sig själva istället för service. Sorry
