I love this place. It’s two blocks from the house, the bartenders are awesome, and I always find something I’ve been wanting to try. I even like the simple and non-cluttered decor. There’s no food there but you are allowed to bring in food from the restaurants in that strip. Thai Basil and Tessio’s will even walk the food over to you!
Love this place. Sort of like a mini papago as far as the selection but more of a living room-man cave feel. No food. Nice tap selection. Friendly service. If they don’t have the bottle you want you can go next door and oick it out and they will chill it down for you, Interesting concept.
Cool looking bare bones bar with 6 or so bar seats and then some tables and booths. As others have said they will make most beer geeks happy with their craft beer tap selection and they seem to go after kegs not likely found elsewhere. The draft Rogue Old Crusty was dynamite and I don’t recall ever seeing that on tap anywhere I have been. I like that they have a much more diverse cooler stored selection than the attached store. I do not know if those can be purchased to go or have to be opened. I had a good experience and had some tasty craft beer to drink. I wouldn’t mind making this a weekly or at least monthly stop after work. By the way the beer sampler selection is a great deal too and improving the "value" of this place for me.
Cool little place with a nice selection of taps and a groovy atmosphere. Seems to be a very popular place, as we had a bit of trouble getting a table, then again with this sort of selection I can see why. If this were MY local, I’d pretty much live here.
Very chill place attached to one of the best bottle shops in the state. They usually have a nice selection on their 24 taps, and offer a flight of four 4oz beers from their tap selection for $8 which is perfect for tickers or those unsure if they like a certain style. Bottle selection is good too but the corking fee is a bit steep. Bartenders are very cool. Overall, nice little neighborhood bar. Eat first, as there is no kitchen.
I stopped here briefly after shopping at the liquor store next door. I guess you can buy stuff in the store and drink it here? Pretty cool. They had a nice selection of their own as well. Hangar 24’s Pugachev’s Cobra was amazing. I will be back next time I’m in Tempe.
