cool little place next to a great liquor store. some decent beers on tap, especially local AZ ones. dark lit and pretty small. there is a decent pizza place just down the row in the strip mall and its pretty tasty. if your in Tempe, check it out!
Very chill place attached to one of the best bottle shops in the state. They usually have a nice selection on their 24 taps, and offer a flight of four 4oz beers from their tap selection for $8 which is perfect for tickers or those unsure if they like a certain style. Bottle selection is good too but the corking fee is a bit steep. Bartenders are very cool. Overall, nice little neighborhood bar. Eat first, as there is no kitchen.

Set off the side of Tops Liquor-a must stop if visiting in the Phoenix metro. Good to great selection of beer with little to no ambiance. It’s just a beer drinking joint with a bathroom-what more could you want?
I love this place. It’s two blocks from the house, the bartenders are awesome, and I always find something I’ve been wanting to try. I even like the simple and non-cluttered decor. There’s no food there but you are allowed to bring in food from the restaurants in that strip. Thai Basil and Tessio’s will even walk the food over to you!
Cool little place with a nice selection of taps and a groovy atmosphere. Seems to be a very popular place, as we had a bit of trouble getting a table, then again with this sort of selection I can see why. If this were MY local, I’d pretty much live here.
Nice, little, cozy place. Couple couches in addition to the normal table/chair and bar seating options. Somewhat darkly lit and chill, at least on the Thursday night I was there. Lots of lesbians too. Decent beer selection with a good amount of locals...bottle cooler in the back near the bathrooms has a bunch of bottle beers, but surprisingly nothing too special or not distributed to ca. Most pints were $5 or $6, which isn’t the cheapest thing in the world but a 4 pack of 4oz samplers of any beer they had on tap for $8 felt like a good deal. Overall, it had a nice chill vibe that’s nice for a little neighborhood beer bar.
Nice place, laid back, comfortable couches. Super hipster/college kid scene...or so it seems by observing. Tosh.0 and a Cal vs Stanford NCAAW game on the TV. Nice large selection of beers on tap and a big cooler of bottles. Bathrooms are clean (fourchan /b/ reference on the wall) and some interesting paintings on the interior walls.
I like this place when I am in Tempe. Very small so go early to get a spot to sit. I like the idea of the self serve coolers. You don’t see that in MN where I live. I wish they had more beers on tap though. The server didn’t know what beer I was asking for. So, I had to go get it myself to show him. Pretty cool place though. I even asked for the Yeti which they didn’t have at the bar so they went next door to the liquor store and got it for me.
Interesting place with 12 taps and a few fridges, plus the bottle shop next door. Four 4 ounce pours were 7 bucks, not bad. No food, but there are a few places in the same strip mall where you can pick up Thai, etc, and eat it here. Worth a stop.
