Holy cow, I absolutely loved this place. Just a couple doors down from Crank Arm and across the street from Boxcar. Parking looked like it could be interesting on a weekend, but thatís why Uber and your two legs were invented. Bottle selection is the best Iíve seen in North Carolina, rivaling the shops in Asheville. U-shaped bar with a dozen seats. Taplist was small but interesting. The locals immediately adopted me when they found out I was on a beer trip and I got lots of great advice, and a few beers as well. Staff were terrific. Awesome place.
Visited on a Saturday night after trying beers at the nearby Crank Arm Brewery. A bottle shop with a really nice selection of singles. They also had a really cool selection for the 6 beers that they had on tap at the time I visited. Definitely worth checking out this bottle shop when in downtown Raleigh. Prices seemed a touch high, but not unheard of for a bottle shop like this.
Parking is $5 in the lot right in front of this place, I parked quarter mile away at a half hour spot. Some prices were good others were high. Big variety of beer on shelves and some quality ones. They will not break up six-packs even when asked. Nothing rare, but good selection, and got some help with my list, I would say others ratings are a bit high. Small bar in the back of this place.
Went here for the first time Saturday. I was a little overwhelmed with the amount of inventory, but after a couple walk throughs I started to pick out my beers to take home. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I will go back again next time I am in Raleigh.
