For some crazy reason I did not notice that this was Melvin Brewing until I walked up. Thai Restaurant / Brewery is a really cool concept that I wish there were more of. Pretty damn busy on a Friday night, but I found a spot at one of the high bar areas. Flights available, pricey indeed, but given that you are in a rich kids resort town its not surprising. I was not overly impressed with the service. My guy was a stereotypical skier dude who kept forgetting me. One of the beers blew for my flight and it was literally 45 minutes before I got a replacement. Did not try the food, but I am a fan of Melvin's hoppy stuff, so I was happy with my beer.

We got there early, and it was pretty empty. Simple, open restaurant, with the main decorations being huge prints of Melvin promo posters. The servers were prompt, gave excellent advice, and were very friendly. A daunting spread of Melvin beers, which is lovely. $12 for a flight is a bit pricey, to me, and the pint prices were pretty high, too. We had burgers, which is odd for a nominally ’Thai’ restaurant, but they were pretty tasty. This is a fun place, and the beer is very good, which is wonderful, especially given the location.

Combination Thai restaurant and brewery tap room. Nice smells from the kitchen blend with some excellent beers. Food prices high, but normal for the area.

Good Thai food and great house beers? Sign me up. They offer flights of 4 at a time. They had about two dozen taps with about 6-9 of those being house-brewed Melvin beers. The beers I tried were all average to very good. I ordered the General Thai’s chicken and really enjoyed the spiciness. Prices were fair for Jackson and the bartender was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stop here again.

Thai Me Up is in downtown Jackson, which is all really walkable. It’s got a sign you can’t miss with an elephant on it. I’m not sure why their brewing operations are now under the name Melvin, but whatever. The place to those who don’t care about beer is a Thai restaurant, and a good one at that. It’s on the pricy side for most Thai restaurants in the country, but not high for the area. However, the light above the bar indicates what the day’s "skid" curry is; if it’s red, the skid curry is red curry, and so forth. That gives you a slightly smaller serving - still plenty for a meal - for $9 instead of $15. So I ordered that to give myself more mental budget room to buy more beers. And I’m glad I did, because the house beer is outstanding. There were 18 listed at the time of my visit, with 2 guest taps and 2 of the 18 house taps just having kicked that day. I wasn’t going to get to them all, anyway. The shitter deserves an A+ rating for the artwork on the walls. I like the attitude and atmosphere here. Great food, great beer, and really unique overall. There’s nothing more I could ask for out here. Absolute must-visit, whether you’re in Jackson for one hour or one week. This place is a revelation.

Pretty cool place. This a quirky and unique place to visit, for sure. The servers were all friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about both their beer and the other beers available. The selection is excellent: They had seven or eight of their beers on tap and at least ten more from other West Coast breweries. Their house beers were pretty good, not great. The food is a combination of Thai and traditional pubfare. Prices were great for the beer and overpriced on the food but considering it’s Jackson the value is excellent. Definitely a cool place to visit.

Open, colorful and restrained quirky. Indoor and outdoor seating. Attentive staff. There were something like fifteen or eighteen of their own (Melvin) beers on tap, with mouthwaterly eclectic and creative desriptions. We had four, and they were all very good to excellent. Some guest beers and top notch imports also available. We ate Thai sliders, Drunken Noodles, and Pad Thai... outstanding! A little pricey, but worth it. The BEST beer/food destination in Jackson.

Fun place in downtown Jackson. Seemed to cater to a more hip, younger crowd in contrast to most of the other places in town that have a more historic vibe. 11 house beers on tap when we were there that were definitely solid along with some great guest taps. Food was solid as well offering a blend of Thai food and pub food with a touch of Thai influence. Overall a cool place and worth the visit.

World class 3-barrel brewery. Awesome guest draft and bottle list. Kung Fu and ski movies...the coolest men’s bathroom you’ve been in...the best Thai {fusion} food this side of Woodside, Queens....really cool staff and great service. Adds up to probably one of the most unique beer spots anywhere and now one of my favorites anywhere.. So much so that I’ve been the past 3 consecutive nights, am going in a few minutes, and will go again tomorrow before leaving Jackson until my next ski vacation. I would come just for the food and vibe even if there was no good beer. Thankfully I’ve been drinking extremely well nightly. The 20 draft lines are ~half theirs and world class when it comes to brew pubs. The rest of the list seems like a personal and not entirely regional line-up that didn’t have a bad thing on and had a couple serious gems It’s spot on for beer geeks and non-beer geek locals alike. Prices are reasonable considering it’s in a ski town. I’ve not had better or more personable service in a long time. They sat cute girls next to me on purpose...since I was on a solo ski trip. I could go on... Wings...Drunken Noodles...thai burger....curry...this menu or what ends up on your plate is not the usual Thai take out or brew pub grub standards. This would blow up if in NYC. No question. The only reason I give it a 9 is because I’ve eaten at Birch & Barley, Luksus at Torst, and Eleven Madison as beer spots.

About 18 beers on draft, Most if not all are from Melvin with occasional guest taps from other Western craft breweries. A wide range of styles represented. Some of the house beers were exceptional. The shrimp panang and green curry were seering hot but very tasty. There are lots of reasons to visit Jackson Hole. Add this place to the list.
