Very cool laid back shop/cafe with tons of bottles and an interesting draft list. Friendly bar staff. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Continent-spanning, encyclopedic selection. Very friendly, knowledgeable, fast service. Select food items are excellent, others above average. Excellent specials and weekly events, rare beers. Tap list is astounding, always regional and craft brews, a european beer or two, an abbey or trappist on tap, a barleywine or a malt liquor. Decor is less good but vibrant energy compensates. Always packed during happy hour with fellow beer-lovers, college kids, couples, the local craft brewers after their day at work.

A very cool place. Ive never seen so many bottles in one place. Although, with that many bottles I wonder at how fresh any of it is. I bought a 12 pack to go and bout half of them tasted oxidized. Maybe more is sometimes less. This is not a good place to take children unless they are older. They dont even have a highchair on premise. So leave the kids at home.

What a cool place. A very nice combination bottleshop/pub with an excellent range of bottles and an interesting list of taps. And the vibe was terrific, great service, friendly, packed with beer geeks of the good sort.

This is a great place. I wish it was in Portland! Wonderful service, sandwiches tasted perfect and great selection of bottles with maybe 10 or so tap handles. Lots of beer art surrounded the walls and a young, mild college crowd of course. A must stop if you are passing through Eugene on the I-5 corridor.

In short, beer heaven! The place has everything available in the PNW, or CA for that matter. If you dont find it in the cooler, it might just be on the wall. Nice ambience and friendly staff.

This place is awesome. We were up visiting Eugene on a baseball/beer trip and found this place. Loved the atmosphere, loved the food, and of course loved the beer. so much beer there were too many to count. They also had great sandwich selection for food and about 10 good beers on tap. WOW!!

This place it tops for finding unusual and hard to get beers!! Seating capacity is only moderate.....but people without seats are encouraged to oggle the refrigerator cases for interesting beer labels WHILE SIPPING THEIR TAP POUR!! Friendly. Great conversation place.....can get kinda loud at times, but thats just cuz everyone feels so comfortable. Selection is of course awesome, with over 900 beer choices....and food is pretty decent. Some excellent sandwiches and appetizers. No fries or onion rings is the only minus on the food side. Only way to improve this place is expand....or maybe get some dart boards. Dont miss going here while in the Eugene / Springfield area.

A nice big selection of quality beer. Clean. A little too bright. Small. Always crowded. A little too bright for my taste in bars. Closes early. Good food.

Well, in Eugene the Bier Stein is KING! I mean --- even in most large cities there are NO places that truly offer 900+ beers. Very friendly staff.
