A decent sized Bishops Arms on one of the main squares in Malmo. Very cosy library area at the back of the bar. Fantastic selection of tap and bottled beers. Friendly service. Usual high Swedish prices. Although this is a prettier bar than the other Bishops Arms in Malmo I prefer the atmosphere in the other one.
Typical Bischops decor with the Victorian, British type of atmosphere. Visited twice, the place was never crowded, despite the big crowd outside, sat at the terrace with a nice view on Kyrkogarden. Quite busy street.
Nice selection of Swedish micros, plus some American of Brewdog beers along with the typical cask British ales. Had outstanding Närke beers. Possibility of order gallop and smaller tasters for 25SEK. Did not eat, but the food is of the rather plain and boring British grub.
Nice and welcoming service.
Extensive bottle selection of rarer stuff but just overly expensive.
Update feb 2014 - after standing at the bar for 15 minutes holding an empty glass and doing my best to make eye contact with the staff who were determined to look ahead and not make eye contact with anyone.... I picked up the bill and left. This bar used to have chatty helpful staff. They don’t seem to be there any longer and some of those that seem to have replaced them were really not so good at all. The beer selection is still great but if you struggle to get served even on a quiet night there isn’t much point is there. Why don’t the staff just scan the bar every once in a while to see who is waiting before they disappear for 10 minutes? Serving customers is more important than emptying the glass washer! One guy absolutely did see me waiting several times but thought that moving glasses around was more important than a waiting customer. It’s the responsibility of the staff to know who has been waiting longest. That’s part of their job. It’s rather insulting when they serve someone who has just walked in when you have been standing for 15 minutes. It’s disappointing and I hope things improve.
I can’t believe I missed this place on my trip to Malmo earlier in the year. The interior is typically wood paneled English and I felt at home right away. They have a few hand pulled Fullers English ales and a wide and impressive selection of other beers on draft. The bottle selection is exceptional. The staff are extremely knowledgable and helpful and the food is reasonably priced for Sweden and extremely tasty. There are two Bishops Arms in Malmo and I think this one edges it over the other one. It’s in the town centre and pretty easy to find.
Nice place, but very very expensive... Besides the prices, nice place to have a beer. Especially in the back of the bar, you’ll find really comfortable seats. We had the Kaggen Stormaktsporter and the Stormaktsporter, which was a great experience!
Dark pub with dark brown furniture. They have lots of taps. The bottle menu is very big and has a main focus on US beers. One of my bottles had expired long ago (and it also tasted that way), and when I pointed that out to the waitor, he removed it from my bill without any discussion. The burger was really good, but the french fries were very similar to those at McDonalds.
When in Malmö I always try to make a visit at this centrally located place. The selection is good, they always seems to have local beers from Scania on tap. During my last visit in November 2014 they had one beer from Brekeriet and one from Remmarlöv on tap.
The interior is your typical "Bishops Arms", you know what you get. I like the staff, they are always friendly and know their beers.

Despite being newly opened, this place already produces a pretty good atmosphere. The service is very good. The prices are typical Swedish draught insanity, but the selection is quite great and varied, and people from those who just like beer to beer geeks would find something to like or love here. If they can afford it of course :).
A surprisingly place. Classic pub look with sort of a generic feel about it at first. But the tap list was really great, the service hugely knowledgeable and relaxed and friendly. Food was varying, poor fish and chips, great beef chili stew. Prices are high, even for Malmö, but in the end reasonable I suppose for the quality.
If you have been to any other Bishop Arms then you know what the interior is like, English styled interior. Has a brewery in the basement where six different breweries make small batches that may find their way up from the basement and onto the taplist. Good selection of both taps and bottles.
