Pretty large place, came in the afternoon. It was almost unbelievable to me that such a large place was completely empty. The waiter was reading the newspapers in the corner, when asked about the beer he wasn’t too sure about the details. Good music. As usual just BT beers, I’ve tried Dunkelweizen which was mediocre. Another place to visit just for the tick.
We stopped in to check out their seasonal selection, and they were offering several of the fruit beers made with syrup, as well as the blueberry that had been brewed/mixed at the brewery and served from a keg. This location has classic rock music, everything I listened to in high school and then some. And unlike the other locations it has food both at lunchtime and at night - the plates zipping by us looked pretty good. It’s a small and cozy place, but not the smallest of the locations. Just as atmospheric as the others. Worth a look.

I visited the Dečanska 23 location (Prešernova Klet) in August 2011, and, days before BBF where they would present their IPA, Rauch and Stout (ok, so that one was already out that spring), they only had the pale ("organic pils"), and even that wasn’t in perfect condition. It’s a cool place, however, with WiFi (the range is strange though, don’t expect to get it everywhere in the pub), and food (unlike most other Turtles). Good service, though the waitress didn’t know much about the beer. Well, once it gets the new beers post-BBF, it’ll become a 3.5/7/10/?/?/12
Visited The Black Turtlle Pub number 4 on a Monday afternoon in May 2014. The pub was centrally located in Belgrade.
The place was not that big with the bar located furthest into the room. One of the bartenders smoked quite a lot but that didn’t disturbe too much. The service was fairly quick and friendly. The beers were ok except for the IPA which was bad. An ok place.
Visited two of the four Black Turtle Pubs in Belgrade. Not a real beer place, for the discriminating beer geek, but in Belgrade standards, it is an absolute must.
The beers are fair (tried the stout and an blueberry ale), excellent value. And I think the bar staff take a great pride in their beers. By far the best "beer place" in Belgrade.
