Nice place. It’s simpler than most Galway bars. There is a kind of harbour appearance; simple but efficient. The place has a nice selection of beers, just like all the Galway bars. The calamari where great. They serve delicious fingerfood, that is a great pairing with their nice beers. I truly love the Galway Bay places and their beers. I loved the fact that the place had a cabinet filled with boardgames, to play in the bar. Great.
the local is quite modern, but the forniture and the overall look don’t give any type of personality at the pub. besides it is a very noisy pub, it is very difficult to talk.
a lot of taps with galway bay production, and other selection from all the world with a geuze on tap too. the beer served have to much carbonation...the menu is standard but not bad.
Two-leveled pub with slightly mossy interior. But what is missing on ambiance is compensated by selection. Around 30 taps, probably half from Galway Bay, few Irish or Nothern Irish, British and few foreign (unfortunately commercial like Czech Budvar). Very friendly and knowable staff. But for me is a big disadvantage smell of food and probably aromatic-stick (like in Buddhist temples) which disturbed aroma of beer. Prices are high in compare with another Irish multitap bars (around 5 euros for small beer).

Located near to the bus station and a ten or so minutes walk to Connolly railway station, the Brew Dock is a trad single roomed boozer (I didnt venture upstairs) a kind of transient feel in terms of its clientele. 20 or so taps, including a couple of cask lines, of which around half are from Galway Bay including some small batch stuff. I also picked up a couple of other Irish micro ticks at the bar ... tasting flights of three offered. Decent enough bottle list but not much in the way of new scoops for the seasoned ticker. Service here was first rate and the guy, who knew his stuff, phoned ahead to their sister pub - The Black Sheep, to check whether there were any new rates for me in advance of a potential visit ! Overall a must visit when in Dublin, solid tap list combined with world class service !
My second Galway Bay bar in Dublin. Nevertheless, I found two more Galway Bay beers. Attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The bearded man was top notch regarding customer service. Lots of quality beers on tap and in the fridges. Many from Ireland, England, USA and Belgium. 10 taps from Galway Bay. Some Galway Bay merchandise for sale. I bought a cool T-shirt. Very simple furnishings, such old school chairs and worn tables. Also an upstairs seating area.

Typical Galway bar. Stopped here for lunch. Fair price. I wasn’t impressed by the fish & chips dish. However, the Galway Goodbye Blue Monday Otmeal IPA was really tasty. The guy in charge was very helpful.
