Visited after they tapped Westbrook Mexican Cake and were filling growlers! Tremendous customer service and knowledge about their products. Space is quaint and used to perfection!! Wish this beer heaven was closer to me!!
Cozy beer shop with lots and lots of different beers to choose from. Really friendly staff. Since I bought so many beers, they gave me a beer glass of any choice for free. The prices are fair. They even have 3 different sizes of growlers to buy. A must go when in Charleston.
Stopped in before departing Charleston. Small place but lots of great beers. Talked with the owner for quite a while, he was very helpful. He was expecting a release that day, the phone kept ringing, but he always came back and pointed out a few other items to me. Well worth the stop, would definitely visit again.
Small and almost dungeon like, but a lot is packed into the tiny space. Staff seemed knowledgeable and they were very attentive. Great selection of both new and old world beers, including some Cantillon. Price seemed pretty standard for the area, maybe a little pricey for some of the rarer stuff. Cool little spot where you can definitely waste some time and money.
A much smaller store than I anticipated. The location’s in an awesome spot right near the water, and I’d imagine the rent’s pretty high. There’s a decent amount of local stuff from the likes of Westbrook. Evil Twin naturally features pretty heavily too. Plenty of offerings from Against The Grain and Jester King were available too. I assume this is has to do with their connection to Brewvival. As others have mentioned, a relatively large amount of space is dedicated to European stuff. There’s also a growler station that did pours of mostly local brews. Service was friendly, prices weren’t bad. Overall, definitely worth a stop.

Very knowledgeable, cool space, excellent selection of beer.
like walking into a cellar, tight small and packed. decent way to pick up westbrook and some other local options. decent growler station as well. would be nice if it was bigger though. too much space given to European stuff, need more focus on american craft, for the size. but overall, decent place.
Very choice, known not only to beer geeks, but regular people as well as a landmark. I was pleasantly surprised how unassuming and friendly the staff was, I love how you can break up any six-pack, EVEN CANS. The selection is hard to beat for such a small piece of real estate, and shrewdly chosen. Value is very good, not quite as cheap on a few bottles as I would have liked, but hey, you can’t have everything, I guess! Highly recommended.
