Deceptive off licence, not much room inside but filled to the gills with yummy beers from around the globe. Picked up my Belgian beers, their selection is impressive, although a couple I wanted were unavailable. The service was particularly good as the fellow behind the counter gave some handy pointers and promised to have the missing beers in the next time I called.
small but seemingly very carefully chosen selection. must admit I didn’t even look at the non-Irish selection, though a passing glance spotted some good stuff! Was trying to narrow down my selection to what I could drink before getting to airport, when chap said they ship to Britain, €15 for 20kg... sold! So now got 14 Irish craft beers turning up next week. Very helpful and honest staff - chap was quite happy to tell me which beers weren’t as good!
Smallish store just over the quay near to Phoenix Park. Beer is in the back, not a whole lot of inventory, I was expecting more variety, but what they did have was very good. The guy working was very nice and had a bit of a chat. Based on the reputation I thought the place and inventory was going to be much bigger, most of the stuff can be found in offies around the city. A bit of a letdown.

Tiny spot in Stoneybatter, packed to the gills with great beers. Frankly, its too small, you can barely get around it and the full range is never on display, you need to have checked the website and then ask for it or better yet order and collect. That said, this is the best off-licence in Ireland, run by proper beer geeks. They are first to get everything that hits the Irish market and are always happy to have a chat about the latest and greatest. Highly recommended.
The selection was not as great as I thought, but still good enough. I blame my expactations. The service, however, was excellent. I had a nice conversation about Irish and Swedish beers with the owners, and after that we discussed football (!).
After I´d paid I received a bottle of Porterhouse Celebration Stoout Barrel Aged for free, just because "you seem to be a nice bloke and it´s perfect for you when you´ll celebrate the victory tonight" (it was a draw so the beer was packed down in my suitcase to follow me home).
As I said, excellent!
Have ordered for a very long time from here when I was living in Canada, I’d get it delivered to whoever was coming to visit me, the guys were alway absolute gents whether speaking via email or on the phone. Would always go out of their way to make sure my order was available and on time. Now that I’m back in Ireland I had the pleasure of popping into them in person and boy was I impressed.
I was like the proverbial kid in a candy store, what a great store, every nook is crammed with products, a great broad selection of micros with an amazing amount of US items. They had plenty of hoppy beers which I was craving, again the service was excellent.

Without doubt the best bottle shop in the country. If it’s in Ireland then it’s in Drinkstore. Ken & Richard the owners are great - knowledgeable and passionate about what they do.
Good selection: any Irish craft beer on the market is on the shelves, alongside a pretty impressive selection of Belgians (their sour selection especially is the best in the country, no doubt about it), plenty of UK & USA beers too.
Tiny little place out in Stoneybatter, like an Aladdin’s Cave of great beer and wine.
Perhaps the best off-licence in IReland (I certainly haven’t found a better one!). A decent selection of irish and UK beers plus stuff from further afield including rarer goose island and mikkeller stuff and big bottle lambics. Friendly and helpful service, especially online, the shop itself is pretty tiny but has more beers stored out back.
