Very popular upscale beer restaurant. Outstanding tap list including Hill Farmstead, Lawson’s Finest and a few imports I’d never seen before. Heady Topper is usually available in can too. Food was decent but fairly overpriced. Service wasn’t too impressive either. Still a great place to visit for top regional beer.
Lovely place. Stopped by on a thursday noon for some food. Service was frienly. Selection on draught contains big names, Belgian and lots of locals. Nice. Bottle list is worth taking a look at as well. Found two of the Lambickx blends!! Food was very fresh, nice salad on the side with my burger. Value is ok and Overall, this place is most certainly worth a stop!!
Wow, what a nice place, its very clean. For a happening Thursday evening, bartender was very quick with my beers. The selection, wow, holy shit out to wazoo, so if you don’t like their 24 taps, feel free to ask them for one of their 100+ other bottles, yeah, did I say the selection is absolutely awesome! Beers from all over, not just Vermont and exceptionally great beers on top of it. The value seemed reasonable, but here is where we trail off a bit, can we please for the love of God stop pouring beer into wine glasses. This is 2015, its archaic to think that the same results will happen. Other than that, still a place I’d go back. Those burgers look absolutely delicious, I probably should have had one, hopefully for next time.
Fairly large restaurant very much in the main block of downtown Burlington. Parking can be a bit of a hassle but not impossible. Nice cozy ambiance inside with a smallish but enjoyable patio out back. Came here for drinks only as I had eaten before but the tap list was solid. Lots of Vermont picks, some HF as well as some intersting out of state beers and even a few imports on draft. Price were quite reasonable. Will return
Stopped for lunch 7-14. Parking is pretty bad on a busy weekday. I ended up driving a couple blocks down to find an open metered space and then walked back over. Nice insdie, lots of room, staff was friendly. Pretty solid beer selection with tons of Vermont goodies. Food menu had some very interesting dishes on it and the food we all got was very good. Value for the beer was solid, food was a little high, but was good at least. Nice little restaurant.
Excellent place to stop for a beer. Prices were reasonable on the beer but seemed high on the food. But I should say that both the beer and the food were really good. Parking is on the street and metered but if you get there on a Sunday you can park in the bank parking lot. The patio is nice as long as the weather cooperates. The bartender was excellent and knew her beer.
Delicious food, incredible beer selection. Solid service. A must go if you’re in town, and they have Heady and Hill Farmstead usually around. Burger was incredible, though a bit overpriced. Beer is reasonable at around $3 for a half pint and $6 for a full. Awesome spot.
Ambiance: Slightly rustic, slightly like a chain restaurant. Doesn’t look like it costs. Service: Bartender was decent, but the hostesses were a bit snotty and the waitress didn’t do much to make us feel welcome. I got an air of pretension here. Selection: Before the Founders event there was a nice mix on tap. Food: Way overpriced. The only thing that impressed were the fries. Value: The beer was priced decently, but the food was largely overpriced. Overall: It’s worth stopping in here, maybe you’ll have a better time than me, but I didn’t really enjoy my time here.
Popular bar and restaurant with a great tap selection of mostly VT breweries. I came by a few times during the week and due to the general busy vibe here service was OK but on the slower end. It’s worth trying the food as it’s decent fare such as burgers, soups and cheese boards. The tap selection is excellent with a couple of Hill Farmstead, Lawson’s and Lost Nation to choose from amongst other interesting offerings. There’s also a fun bottle list to peruse and like most bars in the area there’s fresh cans of Heady Topper in the fridge too. On a nice day, enjoy the outside patio.
This is a great place to hang out after work, it seems. My first impression is that this is like a brighter-lit Zero Gravity with a larger tap selection. Very clean, spacious bar, wonderfully priced vintage beers, and a good spirit menu. I didn’t order any food, but their burgers and salads sure looked tasty. Will have to go here for Lunch at some point.
Ate here for dinner. Sat at the bar. Staff was friendly and efficient. Tap menu had HF, Lawson, heady in can, all the way to a German Eisbock. Beer prices were in line with other places, food prices were high but the quality of food was excellent. I had a great burger. Ambiance was decent. Solid place.
