Most knowledgeable staff you’ll find anywhere. Incredible selection. Great happy hour food and drink prices. Comfortable surroundings. My only complaints is how popular it is. Not enough parking in a crowded area. At peak times it’s hard to move. Still worth it though

Nice, dim light with some music, not too loud. Gigantic selection of beers, all on tap, served in proper glassware. Pretty good on price. Nice waitresses and bartenders who know their stuff about beer. They have food (I didn’t get any though). Excellent place.

Visited after dinner on a Tuesday. Easy to find along the busy Westheimer strip. Parking in lots around the restaurant, as well as in the surrounding neighborhood. Cool old brick exterior with a wrap around deck. The interior has several levels with table seating on each. The bar is large, and there is a fair amount of standing around space. There are many small design details which really make this a beautiful place. In particular, I loved the unique tap handles designed from antiques and found materials. I sat outside, which was a nice place to chill out. The draft selection is extraordinary - the web site cleanly lays out what is available and was current when I visited. Many interesting and harder to find options from local, national and international craft brewers. The food looked great as well. Service was perfect both at the bar and outside. The best beer place I have been to in Houston.

94 = ★★★★½ (World class)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Great new beer bar and restaurant. The craft beer selection is probably the best in Houston. The food is outstanding and I hear the chef used to work for the Brennan’s restaurants. The place just opened last week so it looked brand new and the decorating was a little sparse. However, I am sure that the place will take on more character as time goes on. I will definitely be going back!

All the best Texas brews plus an outstanding assortment of interesting micros from across the US and a few Belgians thrown in for good measure. Five cask selections in addition to the mess o’ regular taps. The food menu ventures well off the beaten path, as well and the couple dishes I’ve tried so far were excellent.

Had a really good time there with friends. Seemed like they really had their shit together and any time I’m in Houston I will be stopping in.

GREAT new addition to the Houston beer scene. Tap selection is, in my opinion, the new standard in town-- and the beers are served in proper glassware. Friendly staff, cool atmosphere. Didn’t try any food during my visit but it looked tasty. A winner all around. A must-stop when you’re in Houston.

This place was recommended to me by my friends Leslie & Gonzo at the Saint Arnold Brewery. Amazing beer selection (80 or so on draft) rustic interior put together with bits and pieces of old Houston. Love the varied and unique tap handles!

Yep, agreeing with those below. this place is great. Almost everything about it is off the beaten path. The most common beer they had was Sierra Nevada Pale, and just about everything but that would be hard to find outside of a devoted craft beer bar or really good beer store. And the prices are reasonable. Love it.

Love this place. Great selection on tap. Half pints so you can try several in one visit. Nice staff that know beer. Best burger in town. A great addition to Houston’s beer scene.
