Had a couple here before the Roosters game. Great selection, good staff (One at least a Roosters man!). Tiny old Sydney pub with great interesting beers on tap. Didn’t try the food but it looked good. Pity I had to leave and go to the SFS (we won the game but the beer there is CRAP beyond imagining).
After a bit of a bad spell, this place has come back into it’s own. Fantastic beer selection (maybe it’s not as good as some interstate counterparts, but it’s the best in Sydney), great food and some fun special events. The staff can be a bit hit and miss, trick is to come in during the quieter times, and you’ll get some guys who really know their stuff and are more than willing to have a bit of a chat about the beer. Overall, the best craft beer bar in Sydney.
All of a sudden, realised I somehow haven’t rated this place. Been here many times and keep going back. Amazing selection with an ever revolving tap list with a nice focus on local Australian brews. The place gets pretty pumping on the busy nights and the staff know their beer! The food is always good to line the stomach. There’s a cool few levels including a nice relaxed roofless area at the top which is nice on a sunny Sunday. Best beer pub in Sydney hands down.

Rotating taps with some great beers from Oz, NZ, and international guest beers. Friendly staff who know their beer.
Edit: The rooftop bar is now open, and it just makes this place even better!!!
Smallish place with a bigger area upstairs. Comfortably crowded on a Sunady night with a great vibe. Food was delicious. Tap list was the best I’ve seen in Australia. Of course, this was the first place I visited, but it was a great list anyway, with mostly dark beers left from an event of some sort. Staff was very friendly and helpful, Jason in particular made sure that I didn’t miss any of the unique beers on offer. Worth going out of your way to try this place. Minor quibble was that the music was a bit loud for conversation, which I guess was why everyone was shouting. Alcohol may have played a part too.
