They have a pretty good selection, kind of the red headed step child of the Battle creek mega-bev.

Pretty disappointing selection. They had a lot of Dark Horse but nothing spectacular: 1,2,3 stouts, raspberry wheat, amber, scotty karate, black bier, ipa, but no special release, and the rest of the selection was pretty average. Basically they had the same bottles that the store connected to Dark Horse had. Be warned. The spot itself seemed run down and unkempt.

A little hard to find since the "Redfield Plaza" doesn’t show up on Mapquest/Google Maps, but it’s about 5 minutes west of the Marshall Fountain (which I’m sure you’ll see if you’re going to Dark Horse... and why wouldn’t you be?) Nice selection, both warm and cold, and don’t miss the singles that are out on the front counter. Not many workers on a Saturday afternoon, but one made sure to come back and ask us how we were doing. Reasonable prices.

Located very close to I-94 and I-69 this store carries a fair amount of imports and quite a few Michigan products. It normally has more of Dark Horse’s bottled beers than Dark Horse’s own store. Well worth a stop if you find yourself on either interstate near Marshall.

Nice little place in a strip mall. Didn’t have Founders which was my main interest, but a lot of other great stuff, all the Dark Horse, Arcadia, New Holland, some decent foreign stuff...very friendly staff.

I didn’t spend too much time here but they definitely had a decent selection of beers, especially for a small city like Marshall. Had a full selection of Dark Horse (which isn’t surprising, considering the brewery’s nearby location), quite a few Bells, Arcadia, and New Holland. Other domestic microbrews included Dogfish Head, Goose Island, Great Lakes, and a couple Southern Tiers. Import selection included the commoner German and English beers with a handful of Belgian beers including La Caracole, Boon, Liefmans, and the delicious Gouden Carolus Grand Cru. One decided advantage is the circa-2002 prices; everything is cheaper, in some cases much cheaper, than it is in Grand Rapids. Worth a stop, perhaps combined with a stop at the Dark Horse Tap Room.
