Here for beer week, enjoyed a Track 7 soulman stout. Also had the Guinness corn beef hash. Very good food, impressive beer selection, and friendly staff. Food was a little slow today, but they are busy.

Really good food and a hidden gem in Sacramento. They have a huge selection of beers and rotating taps. They grind their own meat for their burgers and roast their own turkeys for their sandwiches. Staff is very knowledgeable of the beers they have and have always made great selections.

Surprised I haven’t rated this place yet. This is a quirky, unique place that is rather small with a few tables and a diner-like bar area. They have a kitchen in the back. Service is very good. They are prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. The beer selection is pretty good with a nice mix of locals, belgians, and germans. They have about 16 taps, and a few are hidden on the side, which I didnt know about. Decent bottle list, too. Food is fantastic, and the menu is also interesting. Prices are reasonable. The biggest drawback about this place is the extreme lack of parking and the small size of the venue.---RE-RATE-----I have tried going to this place THRICE since my first visit. All 3 times were on SATURDAY AFTERNOONS when the weather is GORGEOUS outside. Seeing they have a patio, I figured it would be nice to sit out and enjoy a beer and the weather. I hate the fact that this place always seems closed. Their hours suck, and they won’t get my business in the future.

Love this place! Oldest continuing operation restaurant in Sacramento, great outdoor seating, and the best value for dinners you’ll find in town - 12 bucks for a big ribeye!? Eight beers on tap, all great. Lots of bottles. Their monthly Belgian Beer Dinner rocks. If you like quaint settings, good food and great beer, bring a friend and relax outside while sipping something truly exceptional.

This old diner has been around for years, but just got into good beer a couple years ago. There are a dozen good to excellent beers on tap and over 60 well-selected bottles, including some of the better U.S. craft brews, as well as a few Belgian, German and Scandinavian selections. The owner is very knowledgeable and always tries to bring in some of the newer high end craft beers. There is a long and inexpensive menu that varies from burgers and sandwiches to moules fritte and game hen. Brunch is served on weekends. If you’re in Sacramento, check this place out.
