I’m not really sure Three Lions belongs on Ratebeer as there are dozens and dozens of other bars in Denver that have a comparable or superior beer selection. The most noteworthy thing regarding the beer here is the selection of Fullers on cask. They aren’t trying to be a craft beer-centric place. This is a pub to come meet weird British people, watch a soccer match, and/or enjoy some food. I just had a salad, but they make their own croutons and dressing, so that bodes well for the rest of the fare.

This is not a beer mecca by any means. It’s a English-style pub with some English and Irish beers offered. I usually go for a Heineken or Harp when I’m here. They occasionally have Sierra Nevada Kellerweiss, but usually nothing else too interesting. It is a fun place to watch a soccer or baseball game.

Neat sportspub on east colfax, about a block southeast of Vine Street. Obviously set up for expats and/or soccer geeks, lots of tvs and season’s fixtures on giant chalkboards. Haven’t tried the food, seemed kinda pricey. But you can get good ale on the cheap if you go at the right times. They have 4 Fuller’s beers on a cask tap, as well as a few seasonals from Sierra Nevada, Great Divide, and New Belgium. Went on an afternoon, so a really quiet vibe, though I’m sure it gets rowdy later.
