Visited on Monday 28/04/14 around 7pm.
Located just a few blocks from RR thereíll alway be an air of íyouíve tried the best, now try the restí but a tickers gotta tick - RIGHT?
3SAW has an industrial kind of feel to it, steel, metal, 2 levels, brew kit on show.
10 of their own beers on tap and available in a tasting flight. 1 of the beers - a sour, was downright undrinkable - rancid cheesy nastyness. I questioned the bar tender and she said (usual patronising BS that Iíve heard before) ... not everyone likes sours, thats how its meant to be ... what your rotting cunt having not washed for 5 weeks???
Ok place for some ticks.
Visited on a Monday evening in February 2014 after our visit to Russian River Brewing. I kind of liked this place, it was relaxed and not that crowded. The service was very friendly and fast. The beers were nice except for the Cherry Springer that was a strange one.
Located about five minutes from Russian River so a combination of these two places might be a good idea.
A pint only cost 5$, thatís really cheap.
Itís hard to get love so close to the other guys, but the beer overall was pretty decent and was actually quit nice. A quiet location and big patio also work in their favour. I wasnít wowed, but pretty satisfied.
Finally came here, despite being just a few minutes away many times. Large brewpub that was packed on a weekend night. Tons of beers on tap, about 12 or 14. They do them all in samples, which is quite nice. And the samples are cheap. Unfortunately, the majority of the beers are subpar or mediocre. They did have a seasonal IPA that was good, though. Service was very quick and pretty friendly. Food is pretty typical of a bar/brewpub--burgers, fries, etc. but the garlic fries were really good. I wouldnít mind hanging out here at all if the beers were better.
I visited here a couple weekends ago. Parking was really easy here, and the place is a very spacious two-story brewery. Plenty of seating and a bit of a sleepy, quiet place. They had about 8 beers on tap, and the bartenders were quick and attentive. I didnít try to the food, but the beer I had was decent. A really welcome place compared to the utter madness of Russian River.
Iím going off memory here from a visit last year. Pretty cool place. It actually has a more comfortable ambiance than Russian River. Itís a decent sized place, but pretty cozy. The service was good, and the food was decent. The beers were pretty good too. All in all, this was a good stop if youíre looking for a change of pace from Russian RIver, or looking for some ticís in a more low key atmosphere, but I would probably spend most of my time in the other top places in Santa Rosa.
Visited on Saturday of RBSG 2009. 2 blocks from Russian River. Nice cozy atmosphere, interesting tap lineup. Bartender was helpful and sympathetic.
Beer was alright, not great, not bad. lots of beers to choose from though. They do bottle some of their stuff, or at least they used to. Didnt spend a lot of time looking around but the place seemed nice enough. I just sat at the bar with flight in front of me and had a conversation with the bartender until it was time to go back indulge in the 9L Temptation that Vinnie was opening at the brew pub, conveniently about 2 blocks away.
Decent brewpub about a block and a half away from Russian River. large selection of beers on tap at a cheap prices for the area. Also, a very large flight option with beers that range from poor to very good. The food looked pretty good, but we didnít eat and the service was great. Very friendly staff and attentive service. Worth checking out if you are going to Russian River or better yet, put your name in at RR and walk down the street to check this place out while you wait. Tickers goiní tick.
