I’m going off memory here from a visit last year. Pretty cool place. It actually has a more comfortable ambiance than Russian River. It’s a decent sized place, but pretty cozy. The service was good, and the food was decent. The beers were pretty good too. All in all, this was a good stop if you’re looking for a change of pace from Russian RIver, or looking for some tic’s in a more low key atmosphere, but I would probably spend most of my time in the other top places in Santa Rosa.
Visited on Saturday of RBSG 2009. 2 blocks from Russian River. Nice cozy atmosphere, interesting tap lineup. Bartender was helpful and sympathetic.
Beer was alright, not great, not bad. lots of beers to choose from though. They do bottle some of their stuff, or at least they used to. Didnt spend a lot of time looking around but the place seemed nice enough. I just sat at the bar with flight in front of me and had a conversation with the bartender until it was time to go back indulge in the 9L Temptation that Vinnie was opening at the brew pub, conveniently about 2 blocks away.
Decent brewpub about a block and a half away from Russian River. large selection of beers on tap at a cheap prices for the area. Also, a very large flight option with beers that range from poor to very good. The food looked pretty good, but we didn’t eat and the service was great. Very friendly staff and attentive service. Worth checking out if you are going to Russian River or better yet, put your name in at RR and walk down the street to check this place out while you wait. Tickers goin’ tick.
Very long bar with lots of home brews, backed by a number of other seats and tables. Place looks bigger than it is. Easy to find parking even in front of bar at 5 pm. Bartenders are busy, for a Monday this is very busy. s a decent brewpub.
I visited this place because it was Beatification Release day at Russian River and their pub was full. I enjoyed a sampler tray of all 11 tap offerings representing a wide range of styles. The beers are not exceptional but are competently brewed. There is plenty of room at the bar or at two stories of tables. Didn’t try the pub grub, but it appeared edible. Friendly service and several flat screen TVs.
Nice place in two storeys, lots of dark wood, which makes the place kind of dark even in the middle of the day. Quick friendly service, when we were litterally flying thru the place and sampling the 8 beers they had on tap/cask. Some of the beers were quite nice, so definately worth stopping at.
