When Russian River was busy we stopped by here. They were prompted to serve and the food was good. Decent lineup of beers with casks available, however they wouldn’t do short pours/tasters of certain beers. Worth the stop if your ticking San Rosa.
I really liked this straightforward pub in the downtown area. Not hugely busy on the Saturday evening that I visited. Service was top notch. Beers were of a decent quality, really liked the Bombay Rouge red IPA. Food good also (had a pulled pork sandwich). Good prices. Overall a really solid place, would strongly recommend.
Visit on Sunday night after a long day full of good beers and right after visiting Russian River. I wish I could go there on another day to enjoy the beers more. We had all their beers in flights. Good service, good prices. There is food but we didnt try it.
Nice brewpub in downtown Santa Rosa. Near Russian River. Everyone was friendly and prices were decent. Seemed to be popular with the locals. Bartender was excellent. Beers were pretty good. Flights available. Worth your time.
A brewpub near Russian River Brewing well worth visiting. Not the same world class beers, but from average to more than decent. A flight with 5 x 4oz for $6 is a real bargain. I added two more beers, both 4oz. A nice place for tickers, that’s for sure. Friendly service and a enjoyable stay. (Visited June 30th 2016)
Brewpub, stone’s throw from Russian River in downtown Santa Rosa. Food is decent, beers are very average. Service was quick and good both times I was here. They have a good homemade rootbeer on tap as well. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Santa Rosa for beer. If you only have time for one stop, well, go to the other place.
I’ll be honest, I wasn’t in here for very long. I wanted to come by and give it more time, but was stretched a little thinner for time than I expected and ended up needing more of a nap than expected after Pliny the Younger. I got a pint here when we were walking back from Russian River and a friend had forgotten to grab his bag. So a couple of us took the chance to have a drink here. Unusual 80s-era modern brick split-level interior, with a mezzanine that has a few tables and an open first floor with the main bar. Well-staffed, and friendly. Drink prices seemed good, and food looked good. The beer was pretty good, too, but I only had the one. I’d like to come back and spend a little more time and get some more of what they have to offer.
