I love this place. It has improved over time and just keeps getting nicer. They have a good selection of their own beers on tap and have a decent selection of guest brews as well. The food has always been great for me and the service is nice as well. They give brewery tours, but I haven’t done it yet. The artwork and decorating on the inside is a nice touch.

I just absolutely loved this place. It was just a very small building in the mix of a warehouse area. They had great artwork, all the great FFF characters, a wonderful selection of beer, both FFF and not FFF brews, and had a very good menu. My food was fantastic, my beers were fantastic, the atmoshpere was great, and its definitely my favorite place I’ve found thus far.

I drove down from Milwaukee to visit FFF and Flossmoor, and although overall it was worth the trip, I sadly came away a bit disappointed with the FFF brewpub. It is a bit small, but very cool inside... interesting furniture and decorations on the walls. They had several special brews (none of which aligned with their website’s list, but that was OK, it was all new to me), all of which were good. But, when I left, I wanted to get a growler and was informed that they only filled growlers of Alpha King, P&J, Bob the Bruce, and Gumballhead. Why the hell would I buy a growler of something I can get in the store? The whole point of a growler to me is that you’re taking something home that you can’t get anywhere but on tap. So, I figured I’d get a T-Shirt as a memento instead, but, although there are tons of different, cool, unique FFF T-Shirts on the walls, they only have common sizes in the 4 least-unique styles. Anyway, food was good, but there were a lot of mysterious ingredients (carrots, onions, peppers, etc.) on my pizza that the menu hadn’t listed. But, the portion was huge, and the prices weren’t too bad. I really like the half-pint concept ($3 for a 12oz), because it allowed me to try everything I wanted to without getting blitzed before heading to Flossmoor. But, as I said, although I really wanted to love this place when I first walked in, I came away a bit disappointed.

Nice beer pub ambiance. Fast service, although the waitress didn’t seem to know beer from water...Food was very tasty with large portions. Location is VERY out of the way. GREAT to sample all of those 3F’s you’ve read so much about on tap here!!

Stopped on the way to IL. Somewhat of an odd location. On the smallish size, but still pretty cool inside. Servers know a few things about their beers. Loved being able to try a few things on tap!!

Visited on a Saturday night for dinner. We were seated pretty quickly. The place was different, as I had been there a few years earlier when it was just a brewery in a warehouse. Now it had some life to it, and it looked nice. The service we had was pretty good, which I worried about a little beforehand from reading reviews. I had some pizza, and it was very good. As for the beers, they were Three Floyd’s so obviously I loved them. All in all, a very nice stop. Worth the trip alone for the beers, but the food and service were much better than I imagined.

I visited for DarkLord day, so my experience was probably a little bit skewed. The pub is in the middle of an industrial park, enough to make you start wondering if you are lost right as you find it. Small pub area, but since they had Oak Aged Dark Lord on tap, that’s that. Didn’t eat; it’s all about the beer.

I’ve only been able to stop in at 3F on three different occassions and while I can’t rave about the location or the decor (I just don’t getm the appeal), I can certainly rave about the beer. It’s always top notch. Each time I’ve been there, the place has been pretty busy so service always suffers, even if not appreciably so. I can only imagine that when the traffic is light, there’s a lot more attention focused on the customers. The food I’ve had has been typical pub fare and tasty stuff, to boot. I’ve got to say that while there are aspects of 3F that I don’t care about (either way), I always find it worthwhile to head in for some beer, no matter how far off the highway.

Just got back from an 8 hour road trip we made into 12....sort of because of Three Floyds. :) no i didn’t spend 4 hours there, we just "included it" in our driving. not quite what i expected, almost a college coffee house setting, except with beer. very knowledgeable wait staff, because i bet its hard to keep track every day what they have and what they’ve run out of. good selection when i was there, no fantabulous in bottles, but its understandable. the food was great too. (if your just looking for an appetizer, the order of fries will kill you :) ) and the price on walkout beer wasn’t to bad either. $10 for dreadnaught. i believe i paid $7 for a couple six packs. this place is about 2.5 hours from me, and i know ill be going back.

I just recently returned from my trip to this great little brewery in Munster. The atmosphere was very relaxed and chill. A place you could hang out in for a little while if you wanted. I got a one of thier burgers. I was gonna get thier steak but upon recommendation from a friend I got the burger. It was a GREAT burger! I consider myself a burger-nut and the Three Floyd’s Burger beat out my 2 of my top ten. Let’s remeber this is a brew pub. She had a BLT. I must say that is some of the best bacon she’s ever tasted. IT’s juicey and thick and yummmy! OK lets not forget about the beer. There’s the Gumballhead. Ok I’d give this beer a 98. Then there’s the Dreadnaught. OK so this one is PERFECT! then the X (tenth year anniversary)..another perfect and delicous creation. Not to forget like 5 other amazing beers. I’m sure they’ve won awards up the wazoo....This is a cool great brew pub! Highly recommended and only an hour ourside of Chicago...

Small little place in the middle of an industrial park. The food was pretty good, nothing outstanding. Our waiter was great, giving us free samples of anything we wanted. And, of course the beer, amazing. Had a pretty good tap selection with about 20 beers on tap, from them and from other places. As well as a guest bottle selection. I really liked the down to earth feel the place had. Great brewery, great bar.
