Great place along the SEPTA main line. Beer Selection is always changing..one of the few places that gets both Pliny The Elder & Younger. Food is very good and they offer large and small portions. The waitstaff are always friendly. A must visit place in the philly area
I go there at least once a month for a business lunch. My friends who are true ďbeer snobsĒ love this place. Very well rounded beer menu. Excellent, attentive staff. Good menu. The mac n cheese and bunny schnitzel are my favorites. Just to name a few beers Ö Kasteel Rogue, Troegs Dreamweaver, Averyís Ellieís Brown, Green Flash Palate Wrecker, 21st Amendment Bitter, Brooklyner Weisse, Sixpoint Resin, Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold, Great Divide Orabelle, Arcadia Hopmouth, Allagash Grand Cru and much, much more. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of beers. Between the beer selection, food quality and prices TJís beats all beer restaurant in Western Philly.
One of the best in the burbs. Great food and a killer selection. Sports bar meets beer bar meets gastropub style food. My kind of place. Some staff is more in tune with the beer selection than others, but even if you get a less knowledgeable server they have the most extensive beer menus I have ever seen, anywhere, in the whole world, really anywhere. Do you get my point about the menus yet?

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon around 4. Obviously, the place wasnít very busy, so we got some really nice service from the waiter. He really knew his stuff and made a few suggestions from the lengthy draft and bottle list. They had dogfish head 120 on tap and I got a free glass because it was the bottom of the keg and not an entirely full glass. Food was pretty good. Nearly everything is cooked with beer! I will definitely be going back soon.
Been back many times since my first rating. Beer list is always spectacular and the food is great. Try the Boursin cheese burger!
One of the top 2 or 3 beer bars in the Suburbs of Philly... Good food, and an amazing selection(esp bottles)... I agree about the beer menuís, absolutely hands down every time i go i get lost trying to decide, and i think part of my indecision lays in the extensiveness of the beer menu... Great Bar..
This is a very comfortable place that clearly cares about craft beer and its customers. The manager (Jeff?) is visible and approachable. Scott may be the best bartender in the area. While not all are as knowledgeable and friendly as he, most are very hard workers (they hustle!) and competent. Food is ok to good (go for the specials). Beer selection though is great (over 20 taps incl. hand pulled) and their special events are awesome.

TJís everyday is located in Paoli, in a shopping center set off Rt. 30, between the Paoli train station and the Burger King (same side of the street). You might blow right by it so be looking for these landmarks. The atmosphere in the bar is kind-of minimalist, renovated , clean but a bit too bright and cold for my taste( the stone tile floor adds to the draftyness). This barís strengths are its rotating tap selection...local and mega- beer geek loviní brands and choices abide (Founders, Weyerbacher, Bells, Sly Fox, Victory, Legacy, Rogue, Troegs, Russian River, etc.). Also the food is best Iíve ever had in a beerbar, or brewpub, anywhere, and that says a lot because I am P-I-C-K-Y. TJís offers a beer guidebook/menu and food/beer pairings on the menu. Cheers TJís!
TJís is awesome for sure. The bar is a decent size with the current tap lists shown on big "chalk board" TV screens. The menu is a good size with lots of different tasty treats. Most recently I have had the buffalo chicken mac n cheese and a burger and bothwere great. I also tried some of the boneless chicken wings and they were very good as well. While the food was good, the beer list was even better. All different kinds of beer from all over the world. Keep an eye out for their events, the tap lists are even better, if that is even possible. The service was very good as well. They came to check on us every time our drinks got low. Overall a quality spot for sure. I will return for more very soon.
Visited on 25/05/12 a Friday lunchtime and grabbed the last 2 spaces at the end of the bar. Seating areas were almost full at this point. Great selection from the 30 taps where I enjoyed beers from Alesmith, Port Brewing, Clown Shoes, Iron Fist and a Schneider beer on cask! Bartender was knowledgeable, friendly happy to give samples and our water were always topped up without asking. Mix of local workers and friday lunchtime session beer heads. Food was decent we shared some different flavoured macínícheeses and some wings. A definate second visit beckons on my next trip to PA!
