Ive never been to a ’total wine’ but let me tell you, this is the walmart of beer stores. All the selection with the lowest price. Alphabetical; micro, local and nifty beers of over a 1000 kinds by the bottle. Yes. I was impressed. I had to make 2 trips in 3 days. They even have a catalog of the beers on stock for free and to look at. All the prices and cool other information about brews in there too. Not only is the beer selection of over 1000 kinds well organized and fairly cheap, there was a wine selection 4 times that size. However, since I’m not into wines, I avoided that section for the most part, heheh.
The Wal-mart of beer stores, no question. Enormous selection of really great stuff, build your own siz packs, cases of craft beer, even kegs are available for special order. And the prices can’t be beat. I generally dislike huge corporate stores cutting in on the "little guys" action, but we are talking some seriously good selection here and significantly better prices than anywhere else.
Review based on beer. Decent selection of seasonal bombers. Found a few new and unusual selections. Pretty wide variety of brands.
Service review based on interaction with one of the managers. He was obviously in the middle of doing something but took time to explain how their distribution worked, how and when they get new beers, etc... nice guy!
This was a semi important stop for someone from the west coast like myself. I was able to go here to get a lot of single bottles, where a lot of places in the area sell in packs for the most part. Was able to get some surrounding state ticks in the process. Very nice selection, and left with way less than I wanted to. Other than all of that, it’s just like every other TW&M
This is the only Total Wine & More that I’ve been to, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but on its own merits it is an excellent liquor store. Lots and lots of US craft beer, mostly in sixes but you can get some in singles, as well as bombers. Pretty US-centric choice, and I didn’t think so much of the British beer selection (coals to Newcastle I know, but it’s just an observation) but with this quantity of good stuff at these prices, I won’t complain.
Just like every other Total Wine I’ve been to hundreds of bottles all available as singles or sixers, lowest prices in the area by far. Nothing exceedingly rare but anything that is available in the area ought to be here. Friendly staff if not always the most knowledgeable. I’m glad they finally opened a store reasonably close to my house. I’ll be a frequent visitor.
Similar to the other Total Wine’s, with more of an emphasis on wines, but I found the 2 long shelves of beer, as usual, in the pretty much exact same layout as the other Total Wine’s I have visited. This one had a solid selection of local stuff, a lot of big names like Stone, Avery, but I was too early in the year to get Cigar City stuff. Oh well, maybe next time. Service was good. A must visit for FL beer fans.
Good selection, but not very well organized. Singles were in one isle, pumpkin beers in another isle, Oktoberfest beers in another isle, a bunch of random shelves of beer up front, etc. I found a ton of stuff I can’t get at home -more than I could fit in a cart, and I had singles packed three layers deep.
