stopped on a monday night about 10 minutes to MNF kickoff, had 3 open seats at the bar, greeted immediately by bartender, they have maybe 18 taps, 3 of which are casks, some town hall stuff on tap and some guest stuff, nothing rare but lots of tasty, lemon pepper chicken sandwich (all food is sandwich or wrap with some appetizers) was good, fries were good too. Price is fair for food, samplers are expensive but paying for the convenience of 4 different beers is fine with me.
A really cool local spot with a nice pub feel to it. Place opens up well so nice days can be enjoyed even if you are stuck sitting inside. Service was good. Selection is solid but not as diverse as the brewpub location. I did not try the food on my visit but prices were solid overall. A nice spot!
A great local with a friendly, informal ambiance. The roomís roughly split in half between a dining area and a bar space with a long counter and high tops. I sat at the bar and received prompt, courteous service. While the tap list didnít feature as many Town Hall beers as the mother ship brewpub, they made up the difference with a very solid selection of guests. The food menu seemed to be very similar to the brewpub and was equally tasty. Overall, the brewery itself may offer a better selection of house beers, but this place has a relaxed charm that makes it a great local hangout. The citizens of south Minneapolis are lucky.
Visited after work on a Friday. Very much a neighborhood place, located in the commercial strip by 48th and Chicago. Separated into two rooms, big bar area with plenty of standing around space to the left, plenty of restaurant seating to the right. Beer selection is 5 Town Hall house beers, 4 Town Hall Seasonals, 11 guest taps, and 2 casks. Comfortable spot, good crowd, efficient service. Would certainly be a great local.
76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
This satellite location for Town Hall Brewery is pretty much just that. Fewer Town Hall drafts than the brewery; generally shorter on seasonal offerings. Twelve guest lines shared between regional micros and ciders. It is more or less nothing more than a great neighborhood bar, and given that it offers nothing beyond the experience at the parent location, itís inaccurate to call this place a destination in its own right.

Man I always forget about this place. But I really like it. Itís in a more low key part of town. Itís pretty nice when itís warm enough to open the front up. Town hall taps and always nice guest taps. Good food as the other th locations.
Nice little place in a cute neighborhood restaurant/shopping area. 4 THB "house" beers plus 4 more THB seasonals, also about 10 guest taps. Food is mostly apps, burgers and sandwiches but all look good
Visited several times during anniversary week 2011 to try the special release each night (and to get some lottery drawings).
The place is dark and kind of lounge-like. It gets pretty noisy too but thatís alright. The service at the tables was a little slower than Iíd like but the food was good and so was the beer selection. At the bar things move a bit faster if youíre actually seated at the bar but it can be tough to belly up to the bar if itís standing room only.
Be warned that the GPS took me to the wrong location the first time I went (I think the address is new and wasnít recognized on the old map).
