Perhaps I made a massive mistake ordering a supposed east coast IPA. My friends drank mostly sours and the sips I had of their beers were far superior to that of mine. I should have asked for a taste before ordering, but the spot was packed. There seemed to not be enough staff during a very busy lunch, but the server really tried like crazy to do his job.
Stopped by for happy hour. Small bar, festooned with barrels that I’m sure are filled with interesting and delicious things. The servers were inattentive at best; it took three tries to get my first beer ordered, and then all the servers disappeared for the last 20 minutes of happy hour. The selection is fantastic, though. 12 house taps, and at least 12 guest taps, although the servers were unable to say what they were. The apps we had were delicious. The food is a little overpriced, but the beer is fair. Absolutely worth dropping in for the saisons and sours, and I’m sure I’ll be back, to let the service redeem itself.
Was in town for the hill climb and stopped by 2 separate times..The food is outstanding and I wanted to order just about everything in the menu..The owner (Jason) is doing magical things with this place and has to be the nicest person I have ever met. I will stop by here everytime I’m in colorado..Must stop!
I love this place. I will start with that. Great laid back atmosphere. Sure it is in a strip mall but I forgot about that as soon as I walked in. Great selection of their own beers, which are mostly very good and they make experimental stuff which is way out of the box, so even the ones I didn’t like I appreciate. Food was much better than I expected for a small brewery. Basically sitting among some of their aging barrels. Great atmosphere and chill. I could stay for hours. And I might just do that. Some great guest taps as well. Really an awesome stop if in CO springs.
This was my spot when I lived down in Colorado springs. Unfortunately this was pre rate beer for me, so I don’t have the ratings to show for it. Location is great at the foot of the mountains and near garden of the gods. Small, and gets crowded. Servers are great typically, but I’ve gotten some poor service on occasion. Dog friendly outside. Unique brews available. Check it out bro.
Sinon ça serait un must.
The brewpub was awesome and the selection were great, but the staff and the prices were not.. Lady behind the bar ignored us for quite some time when we tried to pay for our visit and when she talked to us she felt kinda fake. Nice to have visited this place but I don’t feel that I have the need to go back. Great beers though.
This might be my favorite brewpub in Colorado so far. They have lots of varieties for their own beers and some other colorado beers as well. Our server was remarkably nice and prompt considering how busy it was. I think my favorite thing was the unique vegetarian and vegan food options. I tried some of the faux meat: seitan wings and veggie corn dog which were pretty tasty. I’ll definitely stop by again when visiting Colorado Springs.
Popped in on a busy Monday night. Sat at the bar which was hopping but still got good attention from the bartender who seemed to be good at his job. Good selection of their own brews plus guest brews. I got some potato wedges which were pretty tasty. Prices seemed average. I enjoyed the atmosphere which was kind of whimsical/rustic (like garden gnomes should pop out at you). Good place to go to just sit at the bar and grab a brew.
