Visited with a friend on October 12, 2012. Did not eat, not sure if you can. They had 6 of 7 beers on tap, the only one missing was due to they had delivered it to GABF and had one in the fermenter that wasn’t done yet. Great service. Inside is mainly black with some paintings. Music is metal, though not super loud so OK to talk still. Cool neighborhood place that I’d go back to.
Being a metal lover, I love when two of my top passions are combined. Modern, metal-themed bar, in a pretty long, tight spice. About 9 or 10 beers on tap, plus a bunch more bottles. You can order a custom flight for a good price. Service was friendly enough, though hands off. Beer quality was quite good, though nothing mind-blowing. They had Iron Maiden and At the Gates playing when I visited - would’ve liked something more extreme, but hey, can’t have it all. I recommend this place, especially if you’re both a beer geek and metalhead.
Long dark narrow gloomy taproom that’s not really welcoming. The srevice is good with an efficient and knowledgeable staff. Around 10 beers available over a broad range of styles with some bottled sours available. Prices are reasonable. Worth checking out if you like dark gloomy noisy places.
Long dark room. Long bar. Long table at the front. Open into the brewery. Too loud heavy rock making it difficult to hear anything else. 13 taps. A few bottled beers. Good beer. Fair prices. Quick and friendly staff with a lot of tatoos and piercings. Too noisy for my taste.
To be served with such speed and humor when it was absolutely packed impressed me. METAL as fuck? Perhaps. I enjoyed the theme, but wish the volume was lower as the friend I tried to talk with was a low talker and I could barely here her. Had but the one pint, but thoroughly enjoyed.
Great place! I stopped in here during a recent vacation to Denver, CO. Big long shotgun style bar, all of the beers I tried were very good, and the bartender was actually from the midwest. I thoroughly enjoyed the wide offering when considering the limited amount of brewing space. Even though I’m not dressed like a metal or punk dude, I’ve been in enough of those establishments to realize that the only person who would be uncomfortable with my attire would be myself. So if you’re reading this - don’t let that deter you and stop by this place!

Visited GABF week. A very small storefront but the place is larger than it appeared from outside. I felt out of place here, in my polo shirt, sans body ink. I’m not into the death metal theme at all, and they take it far with the altar above the bar. Service was friendly. Ambiance is dark and loud. I wouldn’t go here if I wanted conversation.

Ambiance and service get high marks. Death metal + beer = solid. Really cool spot with Amazing art on the walls. Service was really efficient & friendly. The beers were pretty bad though, which is too bad given the rest of the package.
Gothic themed brewery. Cool art. Definitely not for everyone, music is typically loud metal and it is dark inside. Seating is limited, but service has always been good. I’ve enjoyed a number of their beers. I’ll be back.
